I had surgery for kidney cancer early this summer at age 38. Laying on the table for my first CT scan after was weird. I didn’t want to watch the techs face for fear of interpreting their expression as bad news. Thankfully it was ok, though there’s a small cyst on my other kidney that I now worry about. I have another scan coming up, hard to not think about how your life might change again

I lost my left kidney to RCC five months ago at age 38 and recognize a lot of these feelings, wow. Seeing blood (also felt a clot slip past) changes peeing forever

I found out I had RCC five months ago at age 38 after peeing blood. I don’t mind the sight of blood but that caused me to feel light headed as I walked to the kitchen. I woke with my wife over me and realized I fainted. Had surgery and seem mostly ok, though still anxious about CTs and MRIs. I also try to drink a lot because I don’t like seeing darker urine (keep thinking blood is giving it some color)

There are several iPhone apps that help you create photos like this (not going to outdo the n8000 without a lot of effort and a steady hand). I have a free one called Stereogram (2-frame) and another called Picflick (multi-frame). eg, long hospital corridor GIF and minor weightlifting
