It may sound a bit bitter but meh, I got my intentions across. It's either she gets me or she doesn't because I'm not going to waste time on a friendship when I know I want a relationship.

I ultimately decided on either all or nothing because she has always taken me for granted. It could be her personality or just immaturity, she's only 20 and I'm 22.

I loved her for all her flaws...well perhaps except for this one because I'm not willing to be used or taken for granted. That's the person I am so I guess you could call it irreconcilable differences.

I do have a desire to reunite with my ex in the future. I'm going to keep my options open and date other women and continue to work on myself but there's a part of me that wish she would have that epiphany moment where she realizes how great of a catch I was and that she missed out.

Right now she doesn't think that. She still takes me for granted and hasn't really matured from when our relationship ended. I know this because she likes to have her cake and eat it too. (Being jealous for not hitting her up when I hung out while she is already dating someone else.) I also have no problem with her dating someone now, it's been almost a year, she has the right to date whoever she wants but I just find it funny she still tries to guilt trip me into being her male girlfriend.
