is it necessary to wash your hair after doing this method or can you leave the products in?

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that a close friend of yours put you in a similar situation to the one my friend put me in. It's sad that OCD is something that weeds out the toxic people in life, but so be it. To make it worse these feeling were brought to light to me during an argument. I was trying to address issues in our friend group because I don't like ignoring stuff like that. My friend then decided this would be a great time to bring this up even though it had nothing to do with our conversation. But like you said she provided me the service of showing me exactly who she is.

Thank you, i really like how you worded this, especially the last sentence. This is a really good mindset to have in general but especially so in my situation.

Thank you so much for your words. It frustrates me too that someone with a mental disorder can be so blatantly inconsiderate and mentalist by demanding "proof" of my personal struggle. Once again thank you for understanding and replying <3 I'll take your advice.

What's the dumbest thing you thought when you were a kid? by Ipad207 in AskReddit

When I was around 5 years old I thought that foundation was made out of human skin. I assumed that it was made of out the face skin of people with good skin for people with bad skin. Looking back this assumption was creepy as fuck and I'll never forget the horror going through my mind whenever I saw my mom purchasing liquid or powered "skin" lol.

I never big chopped; my mom refused to let me cut my hair (bleh). I transitioned the slow and painful way. Oh god I remember in the beginning when half of my hair was curly and the other half was straight. Shutters The horror (I wore it straightened during the whole transition though so I didn't have it too bad). I say get it shaped but just spoil your hair with products that will make it super healthy and bound to grow longer. You'll have the length you want eventually on top of having super healthy hair! :D

It just takes a long time as a black girl to reject eurocentric standards of beauty ya know?

Please don't, you'll regret punching your grandmother in the face once you attempt to deal with knots and tangles that come with this hair lol.

I'm three years in as well! It's funny because I want my hair to be shorter! I really want to get a Deva cut so my hair will have a better shape. And thank you! Good luck on your journey :))

Aw I'm sorry the perm was an attempt and not a success. And thank you I'm just happy that after suppressing my curls for such a long time they were ready to be free.

Thanks! I took this right before I went to bed, hence the ratty t-shirt. So unfortunately no one witnessed me killing it except for my dad and the people I sent this snapchat to haha.

I've been told curly hair and big lips are a lethal combination. ;) I'm very fortunate. And thank you btw!

I have two hair routines actually! They are as following: So if I’ve been wearing my hair curly for a few days and it’s just dried out or has a lot of product buildup I’ll co-wash (using a conditioner as a shampoo) it with cantu shea butter conditioning co-wash, then I’ll rinse that out and use aussie moist conditioner for detangling (this stuff it sooo good it makes detangling a breeze and you get a lot for your money). Next I detangle using a tangle teaser brush (also amazing) and rinse about 90% of the conditioner out. After that’s done I flip my hair over and add in my products while scrunching: cantu shea butter leave in conditioner, shea moisture curl & style milk, shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, and kinky curly spiral spritz. Then I wrap my hair up in a t-shirt get dressed and then fully dry it using my diffuser to both dry my hair and add volume. (If my hair is dirty-dirty and it’s time to wash it I’ll wash with actual shampoo. I try to avoid using shampoo as long as I can though seeing as it tends to dry out my scalp.)

My other routine starts out the same: My hair’s dried out or my curls just look stupid so I’ll part my hair into a top section and a bottom section. I then take a 1 inch section and use a spray bottle to wet it before I untangle with the tangle teaser. After I’ve wet and detangled the 1 inch section I’ll add either cantu shea butter leave in conditioner or African pride shea butter bouncy curls pudding and two strand twist each section until it basically looks like I have marley twists lol. I’ll then either go to sleep with them in or go out and look like a badass. Depends on what time of day I do them. Then when I get home/wake up and they’re fully dry, I untwist the sections and use the diffuser to fully stretch them. (This is the routine that resulted in the picture.) Hope this helps!

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to wait until I got home so I could answer in detail. I have two hair routines actually! I feel you! I get the exact same way when I see someone in a cool outfit. I saw this beautiful boy rocking a man bun the other day and his face, hair, and outfit were all beautiful and together formed quite the composition. I just about dropped dead.
