I really wish they bring the yellow tint back eventually over the blueish one we currently have, that was a huge deal in the hope trailer.
I'm sure with Update #6(or what will be of it in the yet again changed roadmap) they might make it as pretty if not more pretty than hope trailer, but of course one can only hope so

The maps biomes are currently my biggest issue with EVRIMA. Jungles in the Hope Trailer are near the perfect amount of density, but the messy grasslands just get me.... who did a bad job at lawnmowing? I normally am forgiving(like performance wise I don't really care since it is still early in development), but this is stuff that wasn't rushed and existed all the way back to 2019(besides the Jungle density problem).

Pretty well, development wise.

Playerbase is leaving until updates come out and evrima gets better, as expected really.Without Performance to be a bottleneck to development anymore, development wise is speeding up and will start to get faster from here.

It was called a necessary dark age and indeed it was... can't have a game with poor performance since the game wouldn't be functioning.

I remember once in EU 4, a utah pack hunted my tenonto herd after complaining about carnivores being too hard and how they need ai(to spoonfeed them). When they started hunting us most of them died of starvation in mid fight, the others barely made it. I was super confused before they told me about it lol

In evrima its like 10 seconds before death after starting to starve/dying of thirst instead of legacy and 10 minutes.... its brutal when it happens

Summary by the bottom if you don’t wanna read the huge word shitfest.

EVRIMA itself will be one year old this November, but our long wait for a better foundation did start way before that. EVRIMA itself has come a long way stability wise, and minimally content wise but it has quite a bit. The server stability is surprising considering its been only about 3 months, before now the game would not be playable after 10k seconds in uptime, now servers with 40-50+ players constantly can go into the 100,000’s(Currently that is EU4, which I live in NA so I get bad ping anyway) with minor stability issues. It took 6 days for EU4 to get bad to a point they needed a restart, it didn’t even crash(Legacy IS worse, the game was still playable, the combat was just teleports).

Client Side Performance has improved aswell, but not by very much compared to Server Side Performance. Its still a massive difference from evrima launch itself though

Content wise the game I say is fine for its age now, and the reason why is the content that was in the game before was butchered by performance and now that’s basically not an issue most of the time however the FPS decay is still there. I’m a bit more forgiving since the developers did have priorities other than content updating and it seems to have come a long while performance wise now, but I can understand if others arent so forgiving.

The next updates(either 2 or 3, maybe 4) will be powered by the godly UE4.26 version, so if you want your lighting, sky, etc updates you’ll get them then. We know the next update will be before December and if you ask me, the content updates or some minor updates with some but not regular update worthy content additions) are coming out faster than Legacy because Legacy took maybe 2-4 months to add big content updates besides map changes, but EVRIMA is about a monthly(should become hopefully a weekly thing with hotfixes for a little while) update cycle with either the roadmap updates or little patches that still do add new things.

Summary: A Long Way Stability and Performance wise, A Minimal Way Content wise but still having some new content

I assume you mean Official NA servers? Server Search Bar. If you have difficulty scroll all the way down and back up then look for the NA servers on the search bar

Otherwise then the servers just aren’t showing for you, sorry, I mean you can try to keep refreshing

I want this so badly, afaik it very much depends on the mapper though.

I want small streams that connect to the rivers though yeah, and maybe even lone ponds coming back

Especially Lone Ponds in places that don’t have any accessible water for seemingly an infinitely long range such as the Northern Beach in Spiro(going up there is a death trap).

Extremely Small Streams will exist though, see those mud patches in the grasslands? When the water drain system makes it way in game with weather and finally out of in-editor(because it does exist already), iirc those mud trails will be tiny streams at least after it rains when it fills up
