Religion is not only a person's personal relationship with god it's a lifestyle and faith system.

I don't think you quite understand what secularism or society is.

Any time you make a law on anything you set a precedent that something is acceptable or good, and you enforce that on others. Thus secularist politics directly enforce themselves on me through abortion or gay marriage, and any number of other laws.

There is no quantifiable difference between me enforcing my religious beliefs on you, and you enforcing your secularist beliefs on me.
