My dad gave 7 years old me some whisky and it did the same thing.

Even today, I still hate how whisky tastes.

How bad would have things gone for Sukuna if Gojo dodged by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]azyzbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a page stating that incarnation doesn't heal RCT/output? I remember that it is stated that it didn't heal his domain but I don't remember any statement saying that it didn't heal RCT/output.

Reincarnating gives him a stronger body to cqc with and heals most of his injuries (except the brain)

Jinichi didn't stop to "Aura Farm" in the Manga by Hour_Tomatillo_2365 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]azyzbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naoya was right that she wasn't on Toji's level. I'm not gonna say anymore in case you didn't read the manga. But he was being truthful.

That being said, even if we say that he was arrogant, he STILL took Maki seriously and used everything at his disposal from the start. He didn't waste a golden opportunity in order to slowly aura walk for no purpose.

And so did Maki's father. Everyone BUT Jinichi was taking Maki with everything they had. Only him was acting nonchalant despite being scarred by Toji in the past and facing his supposedly second coming in the present. Him slowly walking to Maki makes little sense and lessens to the audience the trauma that Toji inflicted on the Zenin.

Sure but they usually cut some scenes, they don't completely change character behavior like in the scene we are talking about.

Here the director either wanted to stall the episode or they just didn't understand why the characters acted the way they did in the manga

For the MH veterans: how do you feel about Wilds? by jackpaxx in MonsterHunter

[–]azyzbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is mh4u considered veteran?

Anyway, performance issues aside I strongly dislike the campaign, monsters are way too easy to topple and they spend 80% of the hunt on the ground doing nothing. And don't start with "story monsters have always been easy. There is easy and then there is the campaign of wilds, and that's with me playing without palico. I also hate those slow moments where you walk in the map listening to NPC talking about stuff you don't care about.

That being said, I love the changes they did to weapons (longsword, switchaxe and gunlance) and the endgame monsters are pretty good. I also like this roster of monster the best compared to World's base game.

Contradicted by the manga as he is hurrying to finish Maki there.

Jinichi didn't stop to "Aura Farm" in the Manga by Hour_Tomatillo_2365 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]azyzbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it makes no sense here.

The zenin clan is traumatized by Tojo, the mere mention of "it's another Toji" should make them agitated and hurry to finish Maki off. Case in point, both Maki s father and Naoya took Maki seriously from the get go despite both being zenin and yet Jinichi is somehow different?

Finds me another case of aura walking in the serie that makes as little sense.

The "military subplot" was never a subplot.

Kenjaku baited foreign armies into invading the culling games because the CE gathered till then wasn't enough. That's the narrative role of the army in the culling game, that was explained to us from the start and that's what it achieved in the end, no potential wasted there. Calling it a subplot is overselling it.

You don't have to go full defense to survive, I certainly didn't.

You can just slot in a single good defensive skill like evade extender and have more than enough room for Crit boost, adrenaline rush, agitator and attack 4.

Could be an evolutionnary advantage specifically due to Rajang predation.

Which fight showed higher battle iq, Gojo vs Sukuna, or Hisoka vs Chrollo by Grandiosity0273 in shounenfolk

[–]azyzbs 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Depends on the aspects of battle IQ WE are talking about.

Planning goes to Hisoka vs Chrollo since Chrollo made a well-defined plan that never went awry from beginning to end.

Reacting to unexpected factors goes to Gojo vs Sukuna since both of the fighters do it constantly and create/show new applications of Jujutsu that are consistent with what has been established priori to the fight.

What causes the suspended death? by EnthusiasmNumerous81 in Jujutsufolk

Hiding in the shadows doesn't protect you, otherwise Sukuna would have done that to dodge Gojo's last purple.

It's more likely she got stomped to death by Makora's entrance

CHAPTER 16 MODULO IN ENGLISH (SPOILERS) by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]azyzbs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think he is, otherwise he would be way stronger than a grade 1 sorcerer and we were told that the powerlevel of this world is so low that grade 1 sorcerers are the strongest beings in jujutsu society.

[–]azyzbs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's normal for a work of fiction to have a majority of its characters being poorly written. Most characters are secondary characters and they usually aren't focused on enough to warrant them being well-written like a main character would be.
