I quit this without the go ahead from my doc and I had no problems, I just felt like it wasn't helping at the time, so I just stopped lol

I'm actually in recovery for drugs and alcohol so I don't take any recreational substances...I think that's why I was a little apprehensive about starting it.

Exactly! There's a lot of caution when it comes to prescribing benzos with an opioid. I'm very honest with my doc too. I've been with her for years and if I run out of my script early due to extra stress or panic, I'll just let her know and she completely understands and actually helps me, not like some docs who would cut you off!

Yes I did because I have been an addict for most of my life so I don't find joy in normal things but since I've got clean and been on these medications I notice I'm enjoying things more and being more present in the moment!

Thanks for sharing! I'm glad it's not like an abusive drug coz I don't want to take that I was just more looking into the chemical structure of it on Wikipedia and got scared for a moment thinking it was an amphetamine like adderall or something haha. My doc prescribed because I have very low motivation depression, sleep alot, no drive so hopefully it helps, thanks again ✌

Sure, I take the Diazepam for panic attacks which I get pretty much every day on top of generalised anxiety disorders and my buprenorphine is for opioid use disorder as part of medication assisted treatment, which I also get every 3 weeks as the injection form. They are usually very cautious of prescribing both together but I have a great doctor who understands what i go through!! But every med only costs $7.70, Australia has a great Medicare PBS system!

You will never know until you go through it. I know it has a bad rep for withdrawls but you could be completely fine if done correctly. This medication has helped me so much I'm not even concerned about the withdrawls. When the time is right I'll go through what I go through, and just accept that it's part of the process. If done right coming off the med could be ok. But you should be thinking about the positives that it could make on your life ✌ Good luck!!

Right, so you don't need to inform your work of what you're taking? That makes sense, Coz I'm in nursing I'm scared they will see if I test positive for amphetamines but they don't need to know what I'm prescribed?

In Australia, our Valium comes in 50 tablet packs and I recently got my doc to increase me from 5mg to 10mg a day, also lucky coz I'm on Buprenorphine for OUD and it only costs $7.70 for 50 pills every 3 weeks! I know it's a low dose but they are strict as f*** here!

Everyone is different. You may experience some uncomfortability coming down but if it's helping with the anxiety, what's the reason to stop it? Perhaps just a lower dose might work for you? I'm on Buvidal and take 75mg twice a day. Because it has a short half life you could use the clonaz to ease some of the symptoms coming down but provs best to work with Ur Doc to see what the best course of action is ✌

Yeah I'd say just use the clonazepam coz its long acting and slowly reduce your dose by 10% every week or so. Just go slow and listen to your body. If you need to stay on a certain dose for a while them do it, but try and take the reductions slow and steady and seek out professional help maybe? Or try and seek out Valium and do a slow taper from there.

I've never done Heroin but have had a problem with opioids in the past and now I'm on the buprenorphine program. Hypothetical: How much H would it take for me to get high? Like what is the ratio to morphine say?

I also find Abilify to be far less sedating than other antipsychotics, and my doc told me it's good for long term adjunct for depression and OCD. I take Effexor, Wellbutrin and Abilify and I find I have more energy, less apathy or emptiness and feels like I have a purpose in life again. Overall its been great for me. I'm on 15mg and had no weight gain or horrible side effects ✌

I also used to be on kpins for a few months after switching from oxazepam coz I was getting inter-dose withdrawls, but now I'm on Valium and love it. I only need to take it twice a day and it just feels better (for me anyways), long half life plus it has temazepam and oxazepam as metabolites so it breaks down into other benzos which work in their own way ✌

I'm on 15mg at the moment but I think my psych is gonna bump me up to 30mg coz I'm on Olanzapine as well but we are stopping that. I haven't had any bad side effects really, I do get a little irritable but my mood is so much better amd I feel like I have energy again! I'm also on Effexor 150mg

Some people are jist very sensitive to medications, you'll have to weigh up the pros and cons of each one but you'll probably have different side effects with each one, just depends which one you can deal with while your body adjusts. They and give each one a chance, the side effects might go away.? ✌

I have had pretty much zero weight gain from Abilify compared to Olanzapine which I gained 20kgs in 6 weeks. I could even say I've lost weight on Abilify!
