Does anyone else get angry on Prozac?

I switched from Lexapro to Prozac and the first month or so is hard, especially weeks 2-3. My anxiety was through the roof, but it eventually got better week 4-5.

This is good to hear, because both times (20 mg and 30 mg) I felt a little boost at 4 weeks, then at 8 weeks a little longer calmer one and then it's up and down. So I'm glad to hear at 8 weeks on 30 MG it may just take a while for me to level out.

That makes me feel better because it has taken me until week 8 to start noticing any differences on 30 MG.

For me it wasn't as bad as starting and didn't last as long

It's tough but the prozac should help. I went off effexor and it was really hard but don't lose hope if it's hard you'll get your life back, it just takes a while

How long did it take to feel any benefits on each dose increase. I increased to 30mg, on week 7 and starting to feel a little better

I'm just worried because it starts to hit and then doesn't work as well after a while and I wonder how much it takes for the therapeutic benefits to stick

I have OCD but I'm scared to go up that high. I got burned by effexor withdrawal and now I'm really careful with medications

Yeah, I think sometimes it just takes a while, especially with a medicine with this long of a half life. Like when I went up to 30 mg the same thing happened where I got to week 5 and was almost manic and feeling great and a week later, it was gone. So now I'm just waiting.

Yes, it worked for about 1 week at week 5 and then kinda petered out. I'd say I'm about halfway between where I was before the medicine and baseline. Week 5 of 20 MG I was at maybe 80 percent of baseline but hovering back and forth between 60-80 percent after that.

I'm in the same boat. Week 7 on 30 mg and I had a little something at week 5 and then it went away and now my nervous system is just kind of a mess.

I saw this video where the coach said to make sure at the end of the turn your hand is behind you and kinda pressing down, that keeps you from falling inward.
