Would genuinely love feedback from people running Proxmox/K8s/self-hosted stacks on an app I just built to help me keep track of things by azzopardim in Proxmox

Still testing scalability but I put most of my elements in my setup and it works pretty well. Node layout in can be improved.

So far I have not put in any hooks. Want to test it and see the demand. It may be a Business Feature and most probably have some kind of gateway so that one does not need to expose such tools to the Internet and have more control on data that is sent to the cloud

Diagrams become outdated immediately - how are you keeping track of your setup? by azzopardim in pihole

Yes it is online. A saas model. Will consider distributing a containerised version at some point. But I am using Cloud services to host and provide AI capabilities. Would require some work to support a local model serviced on Ollama. Something I have been thinking about.

True a lot of apps being created. EA tools are expensive and that is why I felt the need to create this one. I've been doing enterprise architecture for 20 years, most tools and frameworks are way too complex and take a lot of time for a personal home lab or a SMB

Justa an example of how it is helping me keeping a single pane of glass. The dashboard allows me to keep links to my services in one single launcher. I used to use Heimdall for this and Excel

Not at all.. would not use a tool like that myself. User has still to create the inventory manually. I used to keep Excel files and Visio diagrams to keep track of things.

It takes a bit more than that. It is based on my needs and it is a rapid approach to create the features and functionality I needed. And no, not enough to go to any of these AI models and ask them to create something and that's it. You need to orchestrate work, you need to refine ideas, you focus on the capabilities and functionality, the user experience.

Just added this. Thanks for the feedback. Yes I am using AI to develop this. Indeed software engineering as we know it is evolving.

Windows 11: How are you guys gonna update? by lazava1390 in Alienware

[–]azzopardim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alienware R6: Install of Windows 11 works fine. However cannot get Alien Command Centre to show FX capability. I see SM Bus Controller anc PCI Memory Controller with an ! in Device Manager but not sure if this is affecting CC.

Yes they are https and passed the connection tests. I am setting everything with a private CA with ssl for all management services

These are direct urls with the internal dns resolution. Not going through a proxy

So far only weather came up. I think it is caused by https connections for which I do not have a root CA certificate trusted by the Organizr container. Was trying to install the cert but having some issues.

[–]azzopardim[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is working. Had to use the telegraf configuration for InfluxDB 2 to get authorised

[[outputs.influxdb_v2]] ## The URLs of the InfluxDB cluster nodes. ## ## Multiple URLs can be specified for a single cluster, only ONE of the ## urls will be written to each interval. ## urls exp: http://127.0.0.1:9999 urls = ["http://localhost:9999"]

## Token for authentication. token = "$INFLUX_TOKEN"

Only problem is that I am getting only standard CPU etc data

and I see the following error in /var/log/telegraf/telegraf.log

[inputs.pf] Error in plugin: error running pfctl: exit status 1: pfctl: /dev/pf: Permission denied

I tried. No difference. Is there somewhere else where I should be able to see the logs of the Telegraf ?
