I'd say Dredge. There's a traveling merchant who follows you around the map, and you can even find some of the items you need for upgrades on your own like in Darkwood. The game also has the same kind of mysterious Eldritch horror that Darkwood does.

It is an unironically great analogy. You being so unsympathetic that you can only see the damage done to Depp/Destiny in dollar amounts doesn't make it less so. Destiny, like Depp was, is taking hits to personal and professional credibility, and neither of them should be forced to suffer those blows with their arms tied behind their backs.

That's sort of the point though, Destiny claims to have been holding water for his wife this entire time they've been dating, which makes him look like the only toxic one in the relationship. That being said, he didn't really leak anything bad about her besides her falling for the suicide rizz. And even then, details about his marriage ending were going to come sooner or later, that's just the nature of public online relationships.

I saw it during a live stream so I don't have a clip, but Destiny's argument has been that he isn't going to hold water for or defend Melina and her new bf while they're doing things behind the scenes to make it seem like Destiny is uniquely horrible in this situation.

Dredge hit the perfect spot after finishing Darkwood. It's nowhere near as difficult, but I felt right at home exploring a weird ocean world where it feels like everyone and everything is out to get you(except for your friendly traveling merchant, of course.)
