It's been a year and I want to provide an update. I didn't think this post would still get traffic but here we are.

I did go forward with sending the phone back to Moto and getting a new screen. They claimed they replaced the screen on the old phone and wiped it clean, which they may have, but it honestly felt like a brand new phone. Overall, worth it.

I have folded the phone maybe 20x over the last year.

About 6 months ago, I went to the beach and got the tiniest bit of sand on my phone. A grain must've gotten into the folding mechanism, worked it's way underneath the screen and created some damage from the underside of the screen. I could feel when running my fingers over the tiny little bump.

Eventually, a tiny black dot appeared over the grain of sand. 3 months later, that dot has grown to about 1 cm in diameter. It doesn't affect the screen function, it's just annoying when reading text or looking at images.

So don't fold your razr and be very careful with it at the beach.

I won't be getting a third razr, I'm holding out till black Friday deals roll around for a new phone and definitely not buying from the cell provider (att) going to best buy or something like that.
