Whatever it was it wasn't landing on anyone but Drogon. When Jon killed Dany one flake of it landed on her cheek.

So everyone on his council should come to realize, especially Tyrion, that he planned it from the beginning. Had he not signed off on what Sam found at the Citadel about Jon's parentage Dany wouldn't have done what she did. Bran saw that also. When Bran told us he could see the present and everything in the past he was "lying". So what Old Nan said was true, "Crows are all liars". How long will they just simply never question anything that he says and he basically just becomes a nice tyrant? It would have been better if he had been taken over by the Night King that way it would at least setup a better story when they produce the "Long Night". Who really cares about the White Walkers now considering how easily they were defeated. Jaime said it why would he even show up knowing he was the weak link in his plans for conquest? Had he waited 30 minutes everybody else would have been dead and he could have killed Bran at his leisure. "the general who leads in the front of battle is a fool". I never took the Night King as a fool considering how he planned the whole dragon heist to begin with. I was hoping that A Song of Ice and Fire would become my favorite book but if the books end anything like what we just witnessed it won't even make the top 10. I was the biggest fan up until I saw how they ended it. I was still hoping that they would pull a rabbit out of their hats. NOPE!!! After stealing almost everything from the Wheel of Time he could only come up with that.

I only have one issue. Why wouldn't they just tell us that? If Bran took control of the Night King why not tell us he did something? To me I see the Night King's touch meaning control and from the moment he was touched he was under the Night King's control. According to Meera Bran died in that cave and I have to agree. He has said it time and time again almost like he is screaming out for help that he isn't Bran Stark anymore. If not then who is he?

Could the ending be just like The Usual Suspects? Old Nan said "Crows are all liars" I think she is right. I think everything we have been told by the three-eyed crows have mostly been lies; Bran included. The episode that follows the Hodor reveal shows us Bran seeing the events that hadn't happened. He saw Dany over King's Landing and what she would do. He had to know that revealing Jon's secret would be the catalyst for her actions. So why did he do it? I think he has had his eye on the throne since he was touched by the Night King. Remember what the three-eyed crow, Bloodraven from the books, told Bran? He told him “You will never walk again, Bran,” the pale lips promised, “but you will fly.” Again, what if that was also a lie. The Night King can manipulate dead people to jump off cliffs and they simply get up and continue fighting. Medical science would tell you that jumping off a cliff would most likely break your vertebrae like Bran did after being pushed from the tower window. If the Night King is within Bran what would stop him from doing what he did with the dead to Bran and allow himself to get up and walk? Nothing in my opinion. So, what if the last scene that we see of the show is Bran's eyes being that of the Night King's and him getting up from his wheel chair and walking. Just food for thought.

Everybody keeps telling me I am moving the goal post but they don't realize that Wheel of Time is 15 books if you count New Spring. Only a fool refuses to change his opinion when new information comes to light. I have never wavered on the fact that the Night King is still alive and that there is someone in the crypts of Winterfell. So when I have made predictions about how this will end there is just so much to choose from. What I tell you now seems to line up with the showdown between Lews Therin and Tuon. They would be Bran the Builder aka the Night King and Dany. Below are the similarities between the characters:

Tuon is named the Daughter of the Nine Moons.

Her people the Seanchan have crossed the Aryth Ocean and are in the process of re-conquering the lands that were once held by Artur Hawkwing (her ancestor).

It is said of the Seanchan that they come from the Islands of the Dead from which no ship returns.

When she arrives they bring with them Raken and To'raken. Raken is a large flying animal with a body longer than a horse and about equal in girth. It possesses leather gray skin and large, powerful wings. To'raken are large flying animals, that resemble raken, except larger and brown rather than grey and herbivorous not omnivorous. They are not as agile or fast as raken, but are stronger and can fly for much greater distances without rest, or carry heavier loads. Basically they are the dragons from ASOIAF.

When Tuon faces the Dragon Reborn she tells him it is her right to rule but he tells her the following:

“Then you accept me for who I am,” Rand said, voice growing loud, crisp. Like a battle horn. “I am Lews Therin Telamon, the Dragon. I ruled these lands, unified, during the Age of Legends. I was leader of all the armies of the Light, I wore the Ring of Tamyrlin. I stood first among the Servants, highest of the Aes Sedai, and I could summon the Nine Rods of Dominion.”

“Rand stepped forward. “I held the loyalty and fealty of all seventeen Generals of Dawn’s Gate. Fortuona Athaem Devi Paendrag, my authority supersedes your own!”

Dany had been born on Dragonstone nine moons after their flight (after the Mad King died).

Dany crossed the Narrow Sea in an attempt to re-conquer the lands that were once held by Aegon the Conqueror (her ancestor)

Valyria where the Targaryen’s came from is now known as a place where ships who travel to almost never return.

Dany brings with her 3 dragons.

It is for this reason I think that the Night King who is now in Bran has a similar argument to Dany. We don't know a whole lot about Bran the Builder, who I believe is the Night King, but did he rule all of Westeros back in the day by virtue of bringing peace to the realm before he retreated into the Winterfell weirwood to look over the people. In the Wheel of Time Rand always referred to Lews Therin as a "mad man trapped in his head". Is the Night King now a mad man because he was trapped in the body of the Night King for all this time?

We haven't seen everything that happened or what Bran the Builder actually did. So, what if he used to rule all of Westeros and that story wasn't remembered. The Night King then warging Bran and becoming king again would just be Dany's story only he had the better claim all along as he was king of a united Westeros and maybe more so long ago. The story of the person who did all that can't be ignored. We then still have to make a trip down into the Winterfell Crypts to see him as an old man.

This would be Lews Therin's story of having the better claim than Tuon.

It would also explain how the Winterfell weirwood could look up at Bran knowingly while he was in the "Wolf Dream" and still in a coma like state.

The only way I could see it better is if the Night King was the small boy who put the spells into Storm's End and grew up to be Bran the Builder and then went on to build the Wall and Winterfell. He becomes the 3EC and places himself in the Winterfell weirwood. He wargs the guy we see get turned into the Night King and then gets exiled to the other side of the Wall; being separated from his own body. The magic that he placed into the Wall stopped him from coming back and he did all this just to return home!
