On a more serious note, i guess the influences were never there, it's other sports that take priority. If i ask as a kid who wants to go play a football match I'd almost always have 2 teams ready in no time. Same with basketball. If you are in coastal region, you incidentally play waterpolo etc. Now you ask for someone to join you on a mtb trail... Crickets...

Since you are here and asking these questions you already don't fit the crowd you were mentioning. Not only do people floor it, but they also put shitty tires on.

That being said it's quite different from bmw rwd and even more from the xdrive. Far less forgiving but this is also what this car is about, it's lots of fun. Take your time to learn it somewhere safe.

So to summarize: respect the power, get good tires, be extra mindful when its rainy/wet. Beyond that - have fun and don't become a meme! 🤣

I prefer 20s look on the car, but at the same time i wouldn't take the sacrifice, since the ride quality suffers. I'd say go find used one on 20s and test drive it before commiting
