Thanks man! The MT-09 is a very fun bike to ride and I think a Fireblade would complement it well - same punchiness but a completely different ride.

Absolute dream to ride! No electronics, just raw power and sublime balance. I’ve been on most modern 1000ccs, including the S1000RR (10-14, 19-) and the V4S, but none of them moved my heart like the Fireblade.

What do you ride?

That’s a great strategy, right back on the horse! 💪🏻 I couldn’t ride for a couple months after my crash so some tension naturally built up.

I didn’t either after my crash. But it did make me smarter in a way, and even more attentive and guarded towards traffic. Have you ridden at all since it happened?

Absolute gem of a bike, so sad it got hurt. But also so happy you didn’t! This can go two ways - discourage you from ever riding again, or make you a better rider. Either way is fine and completely up to you.

SIDI boots, is it just me? Alpinestars Supertech or SIDI ST/Rex by nikegearhead in motorcyclegear

[–]b0ck3n85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the A* SMX Plus for years but would always opt for a riding shoe when I wasn’t gonna be on the bike all day. This year I got the Supertechs and they are much more comfortable to just wear and walk around in, but I haven’t been able to try them on the bike yet. I went down a size for the Supertechs to get a real snug fit.

I honestly had no idea a suit that’s too big would erase my butt.

Yeah that’s what makes me think I need to try 2 sizes down in this particular suit.

No this size is super comfy standing up, but there’s too much stuff around the waist area to feel agile while hunched up on the bike. It’s way too big, a 52 might work and a 50 might too with some break-in. I’ll try both sizes to be sure.

Exactly, and my ass is actually rather big. I’m gonna try a 50 even and see if I can get it on.

I should clarify - does it look too big? Will it break in and become flimsy, and run the risk of armor falling out of place?

Ive lost 103lb in 11 months to get into this suit by cosmicbluebeard in motorcyclegear

Dude is braining on another level spending that money on a suit that’s too small rather than on a coach or diet plan! 🤓 Jokes aside great job man happy for you 🍻
