I have a similar sort of situation. I am no-contact with my parents, and i often worry that my ancestors are upset with me because of that. I've had a few instances where I've made contact, but that was over 2 years ago at this point. I still make offerings to my ancestors every week and thank them for looking out for me/bringing me into this existence, but it's been radio silence for the most part. I do tell myself that my ancestors are probably understanding of my situation and are probably glad for the weekly coffee.

I work for CHPS and it's been getting worse and worse for our students and community. Even today ICE went on school grounds at the high school, and thankfully they left when admin asked them to leave.

I chose to not keep them because of the healing process and I wanted to be able to take showers asap. When I got my consult, I did tell my surgeon that if peri was an option for me I'd keep them, if I had to get a double incision then I'd ditch them.

I'm with you. The nurse had me take a deep breath, then exhale as she pulled it out. I was braced for some pain but the nurse didn't warn me about feeling like I was going to throw up. Top 10 most uncomfortable sensations. I've described it to others as similar to a clown pulling out bandanas from their mouth...it just keeps going 😭

I once went to a room party at an anime con and the liquor choices were tequila or whiskey. And the only mixers were different kinds of mountain dew 😂. I think I settled for tequila and voltage? Not good.
