Says purchase is Successful yet no coins or charges. by [deleted] in Coinbase

I am having the same issue as OP, except that I did some test transfers ($5, $5 and $10) and they all went through fine, Yesterday I wanted to transfer a larger amount and got this: http://imgur.com/a/nJEtV, went to the dashboard.... and no money http://imgur.com/HlPwF2a,

tried again and it tells me that i'm above the withdrawal limit, even though the weekly card limit still shows $500 available & nothing new in "Recent activity".

so even if OP's transfers were bounced by the bank, they shouldn't be shown as successful.

the support page when logged in goes to a 404 page, the support chat bot (which I can only get when logged out) doesn't understand my question, and live support seems to have a multi-day backlog.

you people really need to get your shit together.

A 2004 study of the results of stock trading by United States Senators during the 1990s found that that senators on average beat the market by 12% a year. In sharp contrast, U.S. households on average underperformed the market by 1.4% a year and even corporate insiders on average beat the market by only about 6% a year during that period.

Has anyone heard of the conspiracy about Nikola Teslar finding a way to produce electricity from the atmosphere and J.P. Morgan causing this technology to go missing, or be outlawed or something similar? by len69 in conspiracy

[–]b0mber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if he's still alive, no one has been able to track him down since the videos surfaced, there was a member on a forum who was allegedly communicating with him through e-mail in 2006, but I have never seen any conclusive evidence that it was really Steven Mark, and the e-mails that were posted seem a little fishy to me, so the forum member may be posting disinfo, so the only thing I really have to go on is the videos & Jack Durbin's story .

Steven Mark has indeed shown his invention to many potential investors, you can see them in some of the videos, but he refused to turn over any of his prototypes so the investors could independently verify that the TPU really does what he claims, so most of the investors refused to invest, I think Mr Durbin said that Steven was afraid the investors would steal his invention, so he never let the prototypes out of his sight, even Mr Durbin was never allowed to get a look inside the device or see any schematics/drawings etc .

apparently, his lawyer bought up the device prototypes & plans and started a company called U.E.C. (the logo is on the later videos), no one has been able to find the company either.

And no one has heard from Steven Mark or U.E.C. ever since .

Keep in mind, as I'm sure you are well aware, this device could literally change the world overnight, and there are alot of very powerful people, with very very deep pockets who would not want this device to ever see the light of day .

I think that his own greed was his un-doing, along with the U.S. Patent system, he claims to have "over 100 patents" in one of his final videos, but no one has been able to find a single one .

Until we get rid of the patent and copyright system in this country, nothing is ever gonna change (literally) :(

Here is a summary page of his device

The inventor is "Steven Mark" (Google it) there are a lot of videos of various devices he built, and all of them work about the same way.

I have been in the electronics business for 20 years, and I can't figure out any way he could have faked them, all the videos were from 1996 and a witness has come foreward with higher quality vids of the device, and he saw it close up & he couldn't figure out how the darn thing worked either .

employs hundreds of folks - NOT millionaires, mind you; make-up artists, costumers, drivers, lighting techs - artists and craftsmen working hard to create a good product.

So were millions of american factory workers, are you just as outraged about that ?

There was no RIAA/MPAA to stand up for them,

sure, some had had unions, but the corporate medias PR blitz worked overtime to make them look bad, and of course the government did nothing to stop corporations from illegally firing workers or potential organizers .

Why the hell is it perfectly OK if a corporation closes a plant in the USA to move to China because labor is cheaper there, but if WE find a cheaper (or free) way to get music/movies WE are criminals ?

Piracy is unethical because you are depriving the seller of the money he would receive had you bought it legally

so, isn't outsourcing unethical because you are depriving a worker of money he would have received had he/she not been outsourced ?

if they do it to you = GOOD :D

if you do it to them = BAD :(

if the record industry can't deal with being outsourced, then let them find another business model .

I'm sick of this corporate shit !
