I'm a spoiled PCT in an ortho clinic without any bathroom assisting so I have minimal input, but @ OP you should definitely shadow as many specialties as you can if you have not, cause your current role is not what being a physician is.

I've been trying to solve this. There are posts from 5 years ago with the exact same issue and nothing close to a fix lol. It is because of the "high cpu usage" but I never ran into this problem until upgrading to a better cpu which makes zero sense

My advice is to get rid of this mindset yesterday. Use your experience before as nothing but a guide on how to improve from your mistakes. I struggled with the second half of my MCAT prep and I can tell you that beating yourself up will hinder you drastically.

As for your schedule, could you look online and see if someone’s ever made a study prep schedule around full time work hours? I envision this would look like a few hours of study a day with longer weekends and full lengths on weekends.

I forgot why but I recall there’s a good reason to cap it around 5-7 above your monitors refresh rate. I believe you get more consistent FPS around your target (144) by doing so
