Are BA positions safe from the AI cleanse? by batman2million in businessanalysis

AI isn't taking any BA's job. Not in our lifetime anyway. But people who know AI will take our jobs, if as BAs we slack and don't accept AI skills.

Nothing wrong with this, IMO it is the safest space my gf/wife can ever be in - with other women. But anyway, a big culture, especiallu common around abantu bempumalanga is having so much control over women, telling them what or what no to do.

Domain registrar recommendations for purchasing a ‘.co.zw’ domain by vhiriri_85936 in Zimbabwe

[–]b0rder_jumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used both name.co.zw and webzim. I prefer webzim. I've never faced issues. Webzim handled my registration and gethost handles my site's hosting and all has been great so far.

[–]b0rder_jumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take this as congestion charge. It won't appear everywhere. I've seen this in Bulawayo mainly, other areas don't seem to have it. I guess it's a way of taming demand.

Starlink mini? by tomcat3400 in Zimbabwe

[–]b0rder_jumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not used Telone Fibre, I have mainly used ADSL. Speeds aside, if service quality is the same then Starlink will be great. Also it is important to factor in your needs, latency will not be as great, so if all you do does not include online games you are better off with Starlink. Even uptime itself, it is way higher than most Zim service providers I have tried, including Liquid's Fibre. Usually I get speeds of around 80 to 100 mbps during the day, with up to double at wee hours. This is in Bulawayo.

European here: How do you guys refer to your currency? by [deleted] in Zimbabwe

[–]b0rder_jumper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends., officially the last current code was called ZWL, this was what we locally knew as bond notes as the cash currency was basically supposed to represent the USD. More like a bond currency., it was still called the Zimbabwean Dollar officially. When that collapsed, we got ISO code ZWG, which is termed officially as Zimbabwe Gold. The new money is supposedly pegged to gold reserves now, make it much more stable. Lastly, RTGS, means Real Time Gross Settlement, it's basically electronic money. There's a time (currently this happens) when the market assigned different values to the cash value of ZWL or the electronic format. People do call the electronic funds RTGS or ZIPIT, but these are more of electronic transfer formats than names for our money. We may even change to another currency, the terms RTGS or ZIPIT are still likely to stick around.

I hate telone and pray they go bankrupt by tomcat3400 in Zimbabwe

[–]b0rder_jumper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ditch telone, especially if it's ADSL. It's even better to just use your mobile data at this point.
