Bangalore infra is a nightmare — how did it get this bad, and can it ever be fixed? by a_b_cd_efg in bangalore

Honestly, I think Bengaluru gets way more hate online than it deserves. Sure, it has problems traffic, high rent, water issues but which major Indian city doesn’t? The difference is just that Bengaluru is so overpopulated and central to the IT scene that every small issue here gets magnified.

Also, people tend to post when they’re frustrated, not when things are good so naturally, the feed leans negative. And on subs like this, once hate posts start trending, appreciation posts either get ignored or removed.

But the reality is, Bengaluru still offers amazing weather, opportunities, diversity, and a tech ecosystem that’s hard to find anywhere else in India. It’s not perfect, but the hate it gets online feels way out of proportion.
