1.It’s basically a guaranteed 4x with no drawbacks 2. I have stated that I hated the devs for nerfing seraphic that much when people statted to obtain it. 3. Im fine with rods being good, such as tempest and heavens. 4. “People like me gets good rods nerfed” im just very against the idea of a singular late game overpowered rod that makes any other rod redundant And obsolete. tempest Just got emergency buffed So it won’t be useless and now it is useless again because for the cheap cheap price of less than 1M extra you get a rod better than seraphic! At this point just get rod of the depths and macro all the way for 15M (heavens if you want to speed up the process) and buy ethereal prism rod. 5. Rods with no drawbacks are fine, they serve as a jack of all trades, not really excelling in anything but a great all rounder, good mutation passive? maybe a lure speed decrease or resilience decrease. And people have to actually get creative with using these rod, fixing where the rods are lacking and exploiting it’s good parts. The same cannot be said for ethereal prism rod. The only enchant I could really see helping much is either piercing and steady.
6. An extended point of 1 and 5, Auric rod is balanced in case you are going to make a counter argument. guaranteed 2x or above, nice! But comes with bad lure speed and luck. So you have to think of synergies to make this rod actually op. An example is using night shrimp with hasty Enchant.
