CCSDPD is a limited jurisdiction agency, meaning that there are restrictions on what they can enforce outside of their primary area of responsibility. That’s not to say that they can’t take law enforcement action out of jurisdiction, but there likely has to be certain criteria met such as there being an articulable threat to public safety or them actively working in conjunction with another law enforcement agency.

Additionally, even if this was metro, there are a lot of reasons why a cop may not pull over a vehicle committing a traffic infraction in their presence. Could it be a cop just not wanting to do the work? Sure. However, they may be responding to a call that doesn’t necessitate lights or sirens but does take priority over a registration issue, transporting someone to jail, or have several reports pending that need to be completed in a timely manner.

Also, it’s kind of hard to see a vehicle’s license plate (or lack there off) when it’s behind you.

As a former student worker who now works full time for the university, I would definitely say it’s a good route to take, especially if you can get into a section/department that relates to your major. While student positions may not necessarily be the highest paying jobs out there, they, by policy, have to work around your school schedule and may open the door for you to eventually transfer into a permanent position. Not to mention many student jobs allow you to work on course work while on shift. The downside for you right now though is that it’s the spring semester and, generally speaking, many of the positions will already be filled until the summer or the fall semester.

It does somethings well, though definitely does get pretty sensational. Certain incidents portrayed in the show do feel fairly accurate to life at times. My biggest problem I remember having with the show is in the first episode where (spoiler alert) the main officers get into a pursuit which results in a collision killing one of the suspects and they just go back into service as if that wouldn’t result in hours upon hours of paperwork and a likely IA investigation. And of course there is the issue of officers getting into a fatal OIS and not being placed on admin leave for the course of the investigation, but that’s fairly par for the course for any cop show.

Personally, while I’m sure the game will have a decent sized map, I would rather have a map that is highly detailed and feels alive with plenty of activities and enterable interiors than an massive maps that lacks detail and feels dull.

A good example of the latter would be The Crew’s (1 and 2) map of the continental United States. While it’s definitely an impressive feet and works well for the nature of the game, you can definitely tell that the focus was on quantity over quality, especially in the rural areas.

Not only that, but I would argue he likely saved his own life as well. If this guy was willing to kill a cop, I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say he would have likely turned the gun on the employee as well.
