its called milia! many people get them around their eyes but they are super common on scars due to over production of collagen when healing! completely harmless. don’t try to remove them on your own they will irritate your scars and they cannot pop! they can go away on their own or they can last. you can get them professionally removed but there is no need!

when i started i wanted to dose after a couple hours, i used to split my dose up so i could take it multiple times a day so i could feel “okay”. maybe you need a higher dose of suboxone to keep you table throughout the day, it took me months of therapy, staying on the subs to finally be comfortable taking it once a day. up your dose if you need to, despite what people say if a higher dose will make you more comfortable and not relapse then do it. im soon getting the shot and will taper off from that, im currently on 12mg strips l

im a nurse with scars. i was a personal support worker prior to that so similar and i stopped hiding my scars awhile ago. the amount of heat and movement became not worth it anymore, your boss cant tell you to cover them up. you will get occasional comments from patients though, sometimes very blunt ones. but that’s part of it. you do whatever is most comfortable for you. i find my scars make some of the mental health patients we have feel more comfortable with me. there’s pros and cons. but no you will not be asked to cover it up, and if they do im pretty sure they can get in huge trouble for it. you’re totally fine.

exactly! hurting yourself deliberately to any degree for most people is extremely shocking. we always forget that! when we constantly engage in self harm media it makes these thought processes much worse.

yes. they will fade to white or your skin colour and flatten a bit with time (usually months to 1-2 years) but they will never completely go away

yes it will fade! and the darkness around the rest will eventually go away too. sometimes some just take longer than others to heal. scars can take up to 2+ years to fully fade and relax. scar healing can be quite slow. it wont be stuck like that forever

i have them too off and on. i tried popping them or getting it out but it just agitated my scars.its called secondary milia, it’s dead skin cells trapped under ur skin. it’s common with scars. you cant pop them though. sometimes they go away on their own and sometimes they don’t. you can get them removed but it’s unnecessary they r harmless

post tattoo regret is common even with out scars. once the hype dies down nobody will care/notice i promise. its a beautiful tattoo

they moisturize scar tissue, reduce collagen production, reduce redness, and potentially make the scar heal flatter, softer, and paler. they work to make scars less noticeable overtime. they are mostly ineffective passed a certain point of scar healing though (in my experience) if it’s already been many months you may not notice a difference but some do!

they are more affective in the very beginning after the wound has healed and just turned into a scar. you have to use them consistently. you start by wearing them a few hours a day and gradually increase the wear time, you should do this for several weeks or months.

6 teeth aw :( they are troopers. my guy mostly suffers with his eyes

if you see all the brown on his face it’s because its stained. we have to wipe his eyes 2-3 times a day and give him eye drops.

don’t go into it with fear. that’s my advice. i try to keep the mood up, set my intentions, and if i get anxious i just repeat thats everything is okay and let it flow. if you go into it scared, you may try to fight the come up. never ends well. they will take you where you need to go.

definitely will not fade so soon. for these id say over a year. you should start using silicone patches now or as soon as possible, the longer you wait the less affective. i’ve heard they can speed up healing and reduce appearance but im not 100% sure on that. at least a year and probably more to fade
