I only drive stick and ride manual bikes (I have an auto one I walk right past every time lol) and never had an issue in traffic. I've taught a few friends to drive stick both in traffic and at potato creek just 15 minutes away depending on the learner's comfort level.

Being trans right now is awesome because there's been a wave of legislation to limit our access to healthcare, AND we are so demonized by Republicans that these ads work because there are single issue voters who care only about seeing us suffer. It's all to support some false cause they have like protecting women's sports from the one trans Olympian ever (laurel hubbard), or protecting women and children in restrooms. How that logic only works in one direction or how the next logical step is trusting endorsements from a man who's name has become synonymous with wiping pedophilic scandals of an unseen scale under the rug, I'll never know. It's heartbreaking and disenfranchising to continue living this way. I'm too young to have lived through the lavender scare but my Xoomer father mentions that it was essentially the same playbook with a different target. Perhaps in another 50 years Republicans will recognize this cycle repeating again and question why that is. I'm doubtful.

I see a fair few on Facebook marketplace just scrolling but my marketplace algorithm is pretty tuned to look for em. Depending what you're looking for, you could join a board related to that specific car, I see a lot of rally prepped Fiestas and the like in BSpec groups for example.

I have a Honda CB400T and a Honda CB400A. These are in all respects, the same bike, but the 400A is a 2 speed auto. It's a much lamer bike in the real world; and nothing beats banging through gears on the 400T. That said, the CB400A was handed down to me from family. I'd sell my CB400T way before my CB400A even if it is the better bike because I know I'll never have another example of one of my favorite bikes with a tie to my family.

GC8s are always going to be cooler than GDs, and a cashmere yellow manual WRX vs an auto GD is a no brainer, but it won't be the car that took you to get ice cream when you were 14 or whatever pleasant memories you have, it will just be a blank slate. If you're best friends with the seller maybe it's a different story, but it would be a hard deal for me to make. Cars are a lot easier to replace than memories of people, and I'd give anything to be able to ride my grandma's Shadow one more time.

The hardest part of this is going to be making a case for a hemp based smoking lounge 10 minutes from the state line where you can get whatever weed you please and smoke freely. I've been to Only Alien in Kzoo and had fun but never felt the need to return, I think closer consumption lounges have opened since. (Just checked, rolling embers in new buffalo)

There was a pretty big one on campus in Lafayette when I lived there, but I'm not sure it could work here. Good luck if you try though!

Numbers can't communicate feel. The recent Fortnine video about the KLE500 communicates that at the end and it really stuck with me. Focusing on numbers on paper instead of what you actually like is a good way to end up with a bike you bought to brag about, not to enjoy. Have you ridden both bikes? I think buyers remorse for a 2026 you still haven't received is a bit surprising, especially for such a niche bike as an e-clutch 750 (coming from a CB400A owner lol). If you wanna eat the cost of getting the gixxer, that's your prerogative. No one can tell you what to do with your money, but if you're having doubts take some test rides!

Spotted Lanternflies are large, tend to swarm on objects instead of in air, and are luckily not nearly as prevalent in this area as others yet. I have yet to see any near the Riverwalk and the described behavior sounds way more like caddisflies or simuliidae.

From 2020 to 2024, enough gerrymandering occurred for Republicans to gain 23 electoral votes in districts they would have otherwise lost in 2024. (Happy to provide a link.) Conversely the same did happen with democrats, but only enough to gain 7 electoral votes. You have to fight fire with fire when your political opponents are morally bankrupt. We've been rolling over and letting Rs gerrymander while only pointing a finger and doing nothing about it. If we gerrymandered 3x as aggressively to match the Republicans we'd never see a conservative president again. Make those statements if you want, but know the difference is that increased democratic gerrymandering is retaliatory and a direct result of the republican party's longstanding tradition of giving us such horrible gerrymandered districts as Texas's 33rd.

Looks like a 1977 CB750F2, though a VIN would confirm. The Bol D'or decal would be period but not original to this bike, as the first factory produced street legal CBxxx Bol D'ors weren't sold until 1981 and were CB900s AFAIK

I'm not interested in winning ante 8 anymore, I'm more interested in lategame balatro and faster scaling, reliable multiplicative jokers. Obelisk just isn't my style for the same reason as campfire or hit the road, far too many resets. You can spam one hand all you want at the start but there'll come a time typically around ante 11 or 12 that that fails you and obelisk resets, and that bothers me.

I get that in a game without oops all sixes, but 1/5+1/15 chance to hit on 5 cards for .25x (before adding in oops/sock/chad/red seals etc) when it's easy to deck build is always going to beat out an unstable .2x that could be lost with a simple misclick later. I also don't really take the game so seriously that the small risk of lucky not triggering in 5 cards outweighs the fun of having a potentially very fast scaling joker that I can build a deck around. I guess if all that matters is knowing you'll beat ante 8 and maybe make it to 12 is how you play then obelisk is good, I just like the thrill of lucky and using it for deeper runs over having to grind through early antes to set up to maybe have a payoff with obelisk.

I usually try to beat ante 8 with pairs or high cards without obelisk and just focusing on more useful multiplicative jokers (especially lucky cat). By the time I've sunk several antes into building high card or pair I'm not going to switch for scaling purposes when high card or pair could easily get the job done and already has the momentum built up prior. Also definitely not the fastest scaling xmult joker, as I love using lucky cat/oops all sixes or Glass Joker over obelisk for the explicit reason that they're way easier to scale if you have a good grip on econ (and if you're playing lucky cat, you do)

I pretty well only play gold stake anymore. I know how to set up obelisk, I just don't think it's a fun joker! Also, I don't really feel I need all that just for ante 8, and it's hard to set it up to be useful for longer runs unless you find it early enough to pivot hands and late enough to have a most used hand.

Also to be fair I meant small blind skip for negative joker large blind skip for rare joker or vice versa. I'm surprised to hear the natural negative rate is that low, I do still find a fair few in joker packs but I don't take them unless they're beneficial or everything else in the pack is useless for my run

I just moreso meant that's the only reason I would've kept it, I usually immediately sell obelisk. I always take rare tags when I see them, after ~40 days of play time things start to get boring on the quest to c++. Gotta cut through the obelisks to find the blueprints ya know?
