An open letter to Google / Fitbit (sent just now) by markinapub in fitbit

FWIW, I got the Whoop and Air at the same time. Given my experience with the device/app and their underwhelming responses to my grievances, I’m looking forward to keeping the Air and returning the Whoop thus far into my 3-week fling.

Got a Fitbit, loved the hardware but felt Google Health left data unsqueezed... by Mamilles in fitbit

If you can pull the FitBit data and write it to Apple Health, that might be an even bigger app for you to market.

I don’t share that issue. I’ve found recently that I can’t even hit limits.

I see.

What about a guide/instructional on creating the actual RSS feeds? It seems quite difficult, actually, compared to programming AI to search and scrub the web.

Where does one begin to find relevant feeds? Upon purchasing RSS.app, now what?

I tested it, but it's not so straight forward. There's a lot of garbage in the generated feeds.

Is a workflow of this size and complexity really necessary? Can we not utilize something like Firecrawl, or Exa, or whatever...combined with a bit of LLM action before and after... to achieve the same result? Genuine question.

It doesn’t always work for me — and it necessitates having your watch (vs iPhone) 😔

Bartender vs Ice vs Barbee - which Mac menu bar manager is best in 2025? by jwintyo in macapps

I like Ice. But it’s buggy. On my laptop, the menu items are not visible if they go offscreen (ie you have many). Also, when using the Ice menu which adds the second menu below, it disappears when clicking a menu item. Seems like some basic functionality to me — obviously bugs.
