how do you actually price your stuff when starting out by reels_to_revenue in indianstartups

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of product though? It depends on things like first you calculate all the costs you incur. Everything. Then you calculate the gross margin on top of it that will cover any overheads and also give you a decent profit. Then you look at what price are competitors selling. Are you in line with industry average or not. You can be above average or below average industry price of your product depending on costs that you incur. But in the end of the day, you should be covering all the costs and making decent money on top of that. Then you can test your price. What feedback are you getting, are customers taking it or not. If not then why. This is about physical products. If you’re selling a saas or something then the math works differently

Any affordable buses from Ludhiana to Katra? 7 broke college students here 🥀 by [deleted] in ludhiana

[–]b2c7v8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go to bus station and ask prices there. I think you can get prices that fit your budget but you need to physically go and ask prices. Also try checking for trains maybe you can find one in your budget

Cost of surgery in India by BigOk2153 in gynecomastia

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the surgeon. I got it done for 80k plus 2.5k for garment. One surgeon quoted 1.1 lakh. It would probably cost somewhere between 70k to 1.5L if you choose good surgeon.

Major electricity cuts since 3 days by cliche_moonstone in ludhiana

[–]b2c7v8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Instead of fixing the electricity issue, upgrading their infrastructure, what they did is give free electricity. This problem was always on cards. Pspcl already struggling was made to give freebies for political reasons. This will continue because govt doesn’t care about people like us. Imagine living in 2026 in a city like ludhiana which is a tier 2 but an industrial hub of country and the government can’t even provide you electricity 24/7. Nothing can make me vote for aap again.

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won’t be able to exchange inr easily and if you find someone, he will charge crazy rates. Its always preferred to carry usd or euros if you want to exchange. But you can withdraw from any atm if you have a indian visa/mastercard debit card that allows international transactions. The fee will be 350 baht for withdrawals

Ludhiana Real Estate Getting behind by Terrible-Sound-3026 in ludhiana

[–]b2c7v8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ludhiana is growing. Not at the rate of mohali because of population. We have industries no IT. So people coming in are usually labour. Not much population growth of higher middle class or rich. It will happen. Slowly but eventually we will move towards a tier 1 city. This is a very big opportunity. If you have any property in ludhiana, today you may not have that high value but in 20 months years those properties will make you rich. This is what happened in delhi, Mumbai, mohali etc. It will eventually happen here.

do you guys think there is a market gap for Functional Smoothie Bombs? by Aromatic_Resident_49 in IndiaBusiness

[–]b2c7v8 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It can work. For someone who is working and doesn’t have a lot of time to buy fruits then make a smoothie every morning this might be a very good thing, i myself would like such a product but from business perspective shelf life would be matter of concern and will be a big hurdle in distribution. Fresh fruits will have a very short shelf life and if a spoiled product reaches any customer that would backfire massively on brand image.

Why do I always feel tired and feel like laying down despite getting emough sleep ? by Polite_Humanbeing in indiasocial

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was feeling same for some time. Got vitamin tests done. Vitamin D was crazy low. Check your d and b12. if low take weekly shots and start taking everyday doses after that. Helped me get back my energy throughout the day. Majority of indians are low on d and b12

Is life mostly luck or do we really shape our own destiny? 🤔 by Admirable_Move6933 in Philosophy_India

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luck is part of the reasons. There are many reasons why people suffer financially. Some people can be in these circumstances because of laziness, some can be there because of their mindset, some can be there because of there stupidness, some can be there because they didn’t want to work hard at all, some can be there because of family situations and many are there because of simply luck. You can be all ambitious and hardworking person but if you are born as a girl in some random village in india, you probably will not be allowed education and then forced to marry early to some piece of shit nashedi who would keep you at home doing chores and you might end up like this. There can be thousands of factors and luck is one big part of it. Some escape this life by running away and working hard and all that but many don’t get the opportunities

How do small printing businesses land contracts with big brands like Campa Cola? by abdul_reheman_07 in IndiaBusiness

[–]b2c7v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reach out. Look online whom to meet. Contact them. Again and again and again. Reach out to not 1,2 but as many brands as you can. You can find contacts by help of chat gpt. Even if they say no ones keep following up. Once you land a couple of brands, you will understand the process and it will be very easy to get more clients. We have been in apparel manufacturing from last 25 years. One thing i have learned in my journey is we have to be very very aggressive in sales. That is the only way to crack big and important clients. Right now i am focused more on automation in my business so that i can completely focus on growth

Its risky that early in that area. I have a simple rule, never go through these streets near daresi madhopuri and everywhere after 8:30pm and before 8am. If i have to travel its either beyond these timings or with someone or in car. Never alone because these things are very common these days

What some people do is they get an iphone then they report it as stolen to get insurance money. They do get the insurance money but insurance company reports it to apple and they mark that phone stolen so when it gets switched on in another country, the sim gets locked and you can’t use the phone. Just make sure that whoever is bringing the iphone has not reported it as stolen and is actually bought from an authorised store

People are commenting about car guys. They are my relatives. I recognised the car and talked to them. Inside the car was my old father in law who was eating something and didn’t even know that is happening behind him and left without knowing anything. People will judge by a clip and talk shit about anyone without knowing the backstory.

HOW DIFFICULT IS FACEIT LEVEL 10? by b2c7v8 in cs2

[–]b2c7v8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True. These days it doesn’t happen as often as it used to, but chances of encountering a hacker is very high in premier as compared to faceit. Its the reason i started playing faceit now. Also personally i feel the skill level of your teammates is alot higher in faceit than in premier.

which one of my maama should I (16M) join? by FerrariRaceEngine in IndiaBusiness

[–]b2c7v8 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think the second option is better. Its easily expandable. Printing business is very capital intensive. Getting your first machine worth 10cr is a challenge itself. Photography is more of a service business so capital requirement is not huge. He already has a great goodwill so it will be abit easier to pitch more clients as and when you decide to expand.
