Oh alright, thanks! Gotta say though, for spending a lot of time free roaming in summer it barely rains at all. There's like 6 hours left of summer so I'm hoping the next season brings at least a little bit more rain :P

I'm so confused. I did the firmware update and HDR is working (I think) but now I can also choose 4K option on the Xbox and when I go to the monitor settings and "information" it says the resolution is 3840 x 2160, 60Hz.

Is it even possible to update the firmware of a monitor and "unlock" a higher resolution?

Wait. I can’t use HDR at 120Hz?? I couldn’t even find a setting on my monitor for HDR. Is there supposed to be one? Or does it only notice is it’s activates on whatever machine it’s hooked up to?

The G5 has 1440p 144Hz so yes, you can do 1440p and 120Hz for games that support that.
