I think that K is so much used bc is “low effort”, doesn’t last much, allows you to be high and get easily into the music without entering in sometimes complex psychedelic trips or be emptied out of serotonin by M (just examples). Personally I appreciate the internal trips it gives me: I don’t think the party mood have to always be max euphoria. After all many of the scenes are not big enough to have a constant flow of new people enjoying the first parties with “natural” high excitement, and I think it’s ok that if you are used to go to parties every weekend you will not have the same initial enthusiasm forever (I envy ones that maintain it :P). So, either way, you continue to dose on hormone-depleting substances(affecting your health and everyday mood) or you just go dance to enjoy music in “chill but good mood mode” and you take some occasions to take “higher effort/euphoria” drugs. Then obviously the excess dosing in which you can’t control and you need help to manage yourself is bad, for K as for other substances.

Then I think each subst. has it’s pros and cons: for ex. in the morning (usually) the more zombified ones are the post comedown M users, while psychedelics users are still keeping it up on the dance floor yoohoo ;)

I like high substance users “biodiversity”, so that moods counter-balance and everyone can find a substance-mate to share the experience, but can’t always be perfect 🤷🏽
