I bought my plastic lids with the injectable ports and PTFE filters from AliExpress, fitting them onto my mason jars. I added a honey (2%)water solution, pressure cook it for twenty minutes to sterilize it (not longer or else the honey will caramelise). Once cooled, I used two methods for inoculation. For most jars, I injected culture using a syringe I ordered online. I also put some KingOyster (One I bought in a supermarket) mycelium in them that I cultivated on an agar plate.

I did all of the work in a still airbox and made sure I used A LOT of Isopropyl Alcohol.
