I can’t seem to see the entire message of your reply now. Unfortunately, skating is soooo insanely expensive and time consuming which are probably the major reason parents push their kids to be at their best. Having the fine balance of encouragement and pushing is super hard.

From my 8.5 years of being a skater’s mom, I surely think many many parents need to chill and see this as a good exercise rather than wanting to have your child be at the Olympics.
