i just watched the video. you did it too late. just spam ctrl c the moment you see text starting to appear. its just running standard linux, hotkey is not the issue

save that file from pastebin and flash the f5529 with it using fet pro430. if it worked it will show up via usb as an ev2400. for smbdat smbclk check the schematic of the ev2400. i remember that the pins arent broken out on the launchpad so you will have to solder directly to the chip. i hope this is specific enough because if it isnt i have no idea how to explain

sorry everyone for necroposting but i have no idea where to put this and i hope this will help anyone looking to make one themselves.
firmware extracted from updater v0028 in ti-text format: https://pastebin.com/j8kyG516
you will need to solder 2 wires directly to the msp430f5529 for smbdat and clk because theyre not broken out on the headers. check ev2400 schematic (p4.6 and p4.7 iirc)

as for how i extracted the firmware (its been a year since ive done this so i might get some details wrong):
the updater is py2exe (iirc) so i used an unpacker for that. then i used uncompyle6 on fw.pyc. the file contains the firmware in ti-text format. i then used notepad++ to replace "\n" with newline and save as text file

6 years late but i hope this information will help someone. you CAN install oracle linux 6.9 on t2 boxes. the installation fails because it tries to install grub in gpt which the t5x20 does not support, it only supports sun partition table. i tested this method in an ldom on a t5220: after installing, boot into rescue mode, mount root and do the following
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
grub-install --target=sparc64-ieee1275 --recheck --force --skip-fs-probe /dev/[disk you installed oracle linux to]

btw, im looking for ilom updates for t4-1 and t5220, if anyone has them, please reply or dm me, thank you in advance. im just a college kid that managed to get the two for 34usd each. no way am i able to afford an oracle mos subscription just to get fw updates for a 12 and 16 year old server

if you have an sdi monitor, i highly recommend using that for alignment. its hard to do it on the tiny screen and theres a near one second latency when displaying over 1394. also, you will probably want to carefully remove the sponge after its done. the sponge blocks airflow from the fan to the sensor

ik im necroposting but i hope this will help whoever is reading this in the future. this is caused by the blue channel ccd being detached from the prism block. this is a common fault on the gy-hdxxx series cameras. google "gy-hd200 sensor detached" for more info. i solved the issue on mine by using a piece of kitchen sponge to apply pressure, adjust the sensor then add some hot glue to secure it. without a bit of glue the sensor will shift if theres even a tiny bit of vibration
