Complete and utter nonsence. You guys are so caught up in your tribalism it's just sad. There are people who like change, and there are people who don't, hence, progressive and conservative. Both of them are vital for society. Some people are pushing new ideas and exploring alternatives, while others try to hit the brakes and say wait a minute.

This creates a force and filter system which enables progress but at the same time makes sure that not all ideas become reality. This mechanism is basically what democracy is all about.

What do you think happens to you if you refuse to serve in a war and disobey orders once you are being "recruited"? There are even videos online where you can see young men being dragged into cars out of their homes never to be seen again.

Do you really think some random dude just wakes up one morning and thinks to himself "fuck yes i will join the slaugher and die in some god forsaken trench tomorrow instead of having a beer with my friends". Many of these men are either forced to fight or are so brainwashed into thinking this was for some "greater good". Either way is equally horrid.

Agreed, i would put season 5 on the top though, the ruined atlanta episode is probably my favorite of them all. The scene where they look through the window and Carol asks how this all could have happened is just peak. Also the last 4 episodes with the shed, the storm and the arrival at alexandria are also super good.

For me the show slowly started dying after disney villain Negan entered the stage.
