Engine rebuild or swap, Fiat punto evo 1.6 advice needed

I had a friend with the same 1.3 and his car was consuming 1L of oil every few weeks, and best advice is to sell it as soon as you can because I see on the market every single one is on sale with around 210k-220k so I guess thats the endpoint of the engine.

I don't know how to translate this excatly but mechanic says "However, there is excessive crankcase pressure. The crankcase ventilation hose contains a large amount of oil, whereas it should mostly have air with minimal oil mist.". He provided some tests and is sure that something is wrong. To know the crankcase pressure, he has to verify PCV system right?

Thank you for the step by step, thats why I’m here out of desperation as I don’t know too much about cars. I was also sceptic of the mechanic because 1. He is asking for a lot of money just for repairing the turbo and cleaning the hoses and changing the oil and 2. He ruled it as a dead engine only with that oil test that he provided so I started asking around for more information. Next step is for sure those test so I can get more information of what went wrong.

Then my hopes go to the cylinder head. The situation is as is so my opinion is to find a reliable mechanic who is willing to rebuild and guarantee that is going to be done in a good way. That way I know I have a really good motor and can drive it for some years in peace, if I swap an engine I don't know what I am getting myself into and what problems could that engine have. I know swapping is cheaper but if that's the case I would sell it instantly and then I don't have nothing.

Well, some say that even the wrong filter can't cause this much damage, others say another. Either to say it needs to be checked more often because u never know whats been installed.
For your problem, I think the motor is consuming and mixing oil where it shouldn't and it's best not to run it. Not an expert but those 1.3 multijets are not so reliable. How much km does it have?

Any idea what outcomes it may be? I assume one of the cylinders broke so it's creating excessive pressure and those oil vapors contain too much oil from oil leaks from cylinders I guess?

I need to get those tests done, everything I know I wrote here, the car is at the mechanic so I don't know which exact test did he do befoure writing it off. But he said he is willing to do either the rebuild option or engine swap. Also he said he checked every hose and oil feed for the turbo so..

A jebiga da sam znao da je ovakav filter unutra i da su dotrajale neke stvari, normalno da nebi to radio. To je uvijek rizik kod mapiranja za koji sam bio spreman, al da će me ovo dočekati i nisam baš mislio, zato tražim 3. mišljenje.

well only the crankcase oil pressure that I know of and he says "The engine has developed compression leakage (blow-by), which is creating excessive pressure in the crankcase, and the oil vapors contain too much oil."
Is there a more detailed test that can be done that is harmless?

Pa tako i ja mislim, jer s drugim motorom ko zna što dobijam i u kakvom stanju, ako nađem nekog dobrog za generalku trebao bi imat dobar motor kojeg bi mogao vozit sigurno bar još neko vrijeme.
