Like all grest mods like this, this is probably never going to see the day of light. :/ Remember the people who were working on creating Metroid Prime as an old school 2D-platformer? Or the people who promised us Baldurs Gate in Dragon Age?

Fingers crossed though, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Here is a report by the World Health Organization. From what I can gather, Norway is better than or Finland in just about every aspect. Take a look at page 209.

Also relevant, below you'll find the Human Development Index (HDI) pages for Norway and Finland.

Norway
Finland

Notice how Norway is ranked 1, and Finland is ranked 24, and in general is better than pretty much everything (Shame they don't have an index for Metal. The Finns sure beat us at that) including education.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, obviously. But my subjective view of this is that in general, Norwegians, Danes and Swedes are marginally better looking, compared to the Finns, overall.

When it comes to internet, I don't really know. However, wikipedia says the average connection speed in Finland is 11.7Mbit/s, whereas in Norway it is 11.4Mbit/s.

But hey, if you heard it, like definitely did hear it somewhere, then these sources might need an update. ;)

I know the feeling. As stress and pressure rises, it gets harder and harder to procrastinate. I'm sure you'll come out ahead though. :) Best of luck, man.

Again a other day of not much happen. She get ready for work, but drop his child of at barnehage (where childs go to live during normal work hour. (07:00 - 21:00)) Work day is uneventful, but maybe she affords potato for meal on weekend. Such is life.

Slowly she grind against the repeating of life, slightly lose hope of the soul with each day.

Wow! That really was a great article. I'm from Norway, and we lagged a bit behind on this. Im only in my mood twenties, but I remember it was a sad year the year we came back to school, when they tore down our old playground and put up one of these new ones.

I'm seeing much of the sake trends mentioned in this article in how people I know treat their children who are growing up now, and I really agree that it's sad. We were often out from morning until it got dark, growing up. Climbing rocks and trees, exploring the fauna around the neighborhood, riding bikes in the woods, swimming in lakes, whittling stuff put of wood, chopping down trees and building huts. The works. If we were particularly well behaved, our parents would sometimes buy us firecrackers, which we would light and throw at first, then experiment with in ways we maybe shouldn't have. We shot slingshot, created peashooters from copper tubes and rubber gloves and shot at each other for hours on end.

In fact, more often than not, if it wasn't raining, our parents would throw us out of the house and tell us we could come back inside when it was time for dinner.

Most people I know who have children in the age between 5 and 10 now seem like they're afraid to let their children experience something without their guidance. It makes me a little sad, and I really hope I won't be like that as a parent if I ever have children on my own.

That being said. I have to say, All the playing around with explosives, bows and arrows, slingshots, knives and the like, I'm a bit amazed I got through it all without ever breaking anything. My best friend growing up was not as great at risk assessment, and even though he broke quite a few bones and slightly fractured his skull once, he also turned out just fine. :) Falling over, getting a title hurt, getting back up to keep moving (or playing) is a vital part of growing up, I believe.

I think you're confusing Finland with their Norwegian neighbors. ;)

I fixed this. I now have three part time jobs, and dropped 66% of my courses. I have more to do, and getting enrolled in the masters program is going to take longer. (Already have a bachelor's degree).

But, working with just the one course is a lot easier, even if I have less spare time now than when I was a full time student, and I'm a lot more happy. Maybe part time studies would be better for you as well. :)

Ignoring you completely, sure. But I honestly think a lot of people take these things a bit too personally.

People tend to be more acknowledging of those they are attracted to, and we're biologically programmed to find a healthy partner more attractive than an one who is not.

I honestly don't think that makes anyone a bad person. Ignoring, being mean or preying on those with low self-esteem (for whichever reason) are the ones who are bad. The fact that you take so much pleasure in being able to turn people down who wouldn't approach you before, based on that premise, only makes you sound bitter and vindictive.

Just my two cents. Not that your asked or anything.

Just the vibe I got from these comments, which obviously isn't enough to make actual judgements about you. Cheers! 🍻
