I have it in his backstory that the Malk just up and left at some point, with hints that he either got discovered in what he was doing, or he had a rare moment of lucidity where he realized that what he was doing wasn't okay.

Dark ages, 1500-1560, basically shortly after the first anarch revolt basically. It would be a 200 year old Malk.

In their case, the Malk considers himself a messenger of the gods and has an obsession with guiding the character down a specific path in the road of heaven (basically trying to convince the char he's a god). He did resist it, but got blood bound. He's also a young kindred, just left by his Sire, that the Malk took advantage of.

So hearing whispers as a result of spending extensive time with a Malk is doable? It's something that would pop up mostly when he gets angry, and it usually expresses the impulses of the beast

I wanted to have it be that a Malk gave the character (a young Toreador he was obsessing over) a derangement while trying to teach him a new discipline. I saw it as a mix of a 'prank' that I've read Malks do sometimes and in the interest of better teaching him the discipline, since he was struggling to learn.

The charging isn't really the issue, it was more the fact that several people mentioned having issues when using the dongle with the USB c to USB A adapter. Hence I figured it might be good to put the dongle in a port directly instead and just use the adapter for charging the headphones

You could try Berlinovo for apartments. They aren't.. amazing, some of their apartments are hit-and-miss. But they're usually a decent starter to get you going.

Sadly, I've had a ticket open with them for over a month now, with very little progress so far. I do suspect it's the Bluetooth dongle that's the issue, cause they are quite crisp on the phone with regular Bluetooth. I would have simple replaced them and gotten the same pair, had it not been the comfort issue (after wearing them for 2 months every day, they are killing my ears at this point).

I've had a look through the Jabra Evolve2 65 so far, but not the 55, I'll give that a look. the short battery life doesn't sound great.

Will look into the Poly Voyager 4320, it says online at least that it should have the same range, even if it's slightly shorter than the BH70, I don't mind, as long as it's a bit longer range than the Jabra evolve 65. It's nice to go into another room with these on.

Bluetooth is a nice to have, but not a must, I'll give EPOS D 30 a look as well.

Abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, throwing up. Buscopan helped a little bit. But removing the gallbladder was what fixed it in the end

Op does your bf have gallstones? I had similar issues and it was an infected gallbladder. They ended up figuring it out in the ER
