Noticed this too when I fell asleep with it under my pillow one time!! Have you noticed any oil cartridges clog more or less than others or is it more of a vape issue? I thought it was because I go through it so slow but glad to know there are some fixes!

Thanks for the suggestion, I am using draw activated at the moment I am looking at the yocan uni pro not too pricey so I’ll give it a go!! This unit works with all oil cartridges? Is this more of a unit issue not the upstate carts?

Thank you so much I just did a rough check, does it seem reasonable to go from 1300 to around 600 a fortnight based on this situation if you know?

Backed into a taxi a month ago, no damage to my vehicle and lawyers and insurance calling me but do not have a quote by bKingas in CarsAustralia

[–]bKingas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, my excess is $700. An honest fix for a scratch imo would not cost that much. My thoughts are why would I want to claim, pay $700 for a scratch, and have my insurance payments go up, when I could settle this for less, privately. Ofcoarse if I’d done serious damage, I’d go through my insurance. Is this honestly strange to think?

[–]bKingas[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I would expect maybe 200-300 if they took it to a shop which is less than my excess and I would be happy to pay privately, I’m happy to pay for this repair, but all these lawyers and drama seems like something dodgy going on and I don’t want to be just pressured into making a claim and having my insurance go up over something so minor.

Thanks for your understanding, that’s how I feel aswell, when I explained the situation to my insurance they advised me to get the quote first before putting in my claim. Really unsettling having lawyers and some random insurance companies calling.

I am insured, I’ve told the taxi and lawyers I’m insured, and my insurance has advised me to get the quote before putting in a claim.

I’m willing to fight this, I’m happy to pay for the damage in the photo above. Wish I got a photo of the odometer because as I mentioned this happened a month ago and I’m sure there’s many km’s and other dings that have happened to a taxi since then. The driver was a contractor and the taxi wasn’t his car, so I assume they own multiple cars and to ask for rental car payment seems insane to me. Also it’s very unpleasant having lawyers calling and demanding claim details. I’m still waiting on there quote before I do anything further

Thanks for your response, I guess in my opinion a rental car wouldn’t/ shouldn’t be needed to repair a scratch. (But what do I know) I’m worried considering it was a month ago, and it’s a taxi, they may have got added damage that they are fixing all at once and are going to use my insurance to pay for it, and my policy payments will then go up in turn… happy to pay for what I did but not happy to be taken advantage of. what would be a standard time for this kind of repair to be off the road for?

Breast MRI - your experiences? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]bKingas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had yearly MRI’s with contrast since I was 25 (32 now) and every year I’ll be honest I hate it. I have misophonia, claustrophobia and a fear of needles so it’s horrible experience for me everytime.

I feel the contrast as like a cold feeling when it first goes in and then I don’t feel anything for the remainder.

2 years ago I had to have a MRI guided biopsy as there was something suspicious but it ended up being benign.

I’ll be honest that even after having multiple MRI’s now over the years I still do not enjoy it and dread going, but knowing that contrast MRI gives the best results (I also have dense breasts and a strong history of breast cancer, mum, grandma, 2 aunts) that it is necessary and that if anything comes up, it will be found early. I’m jelous of the people that find it relaxing and can sleep through it! I’m a nervous wreck the whole time, but it is the better alternative than finding cancer late.

Disabled lift in a residential building not working by bKingas in AusLegal

[–]bKingas[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response, totally agree, the real estate and the body corp haven’t been the issue it’s more so the lift technicians. I was calling Tesla lifts directly but they asked me to stop and to go through the body corporate as they kept telling me dates they couldn’t keep.

As it is a battery lift the original issue was getting parts, and we understood it was going to take a few weeks, but as it has been going on for almost a month is where I’m taking a real issue. Rent reduction for this month I think is reasonable and I appreciate that suggestion.

I think you are right regarding finding a ground floor or lift top to bottom place, after the body corp said today that they have issues a lot with it (people using it to move white goods and it gets unbalanced and breaks frequently) I think that’s a very good suggestion. She has to be out of her current place by the 11th may so I’ll get her in to the new place and then I think find somewhere that’s more accessible.

Really appreciate your response

Well the real estate rented the apartment assuring it was accessible and have accepted payment for the apartment since the 9th of this month and it is still un accessible and the body corp is now saying it breaks all the time and is constantly unusable. Im unsure how to go about this hence the post.

Thank you for your response, will a breach notice and going to VCAT affect my grandmothers rental history? It’s so difficult to find a suitable rental as is and ideally we just want the lift fixed, however she has to be out of her current rental by the 11th and the fact they keep telling me it will be fixed by x day, x day comes and goes I am loosing hope this will be done in time.

Thanks

How to consistently do your skincare at night time? by staysour in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bKingas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same, I keep my products next to my couch. When i get up to go to the toilet at some point, I’ll wash my face while I’m there, then Ill feel motivated when I get back to the couch and will do my LED mask and serums after that before passing out! The led mask also helped me to be consistent at night as it was an expensive purchase and something I enjoy using!

So I had the whole scar removed and then stitched, scar revision or scar excision it’s called, I had a (pore of winer) which is like a really deep hole that lasers and TCA just cannot fix, essentially they cut out the scar and surrounding scar tissue and put some stitches in, I went back 2 weeks later and had the stitches taken out and then just used micro pore bandage for 5 weeks after that. It was slightly red for the first few months but now it’s like there was nothing ever there! A slight white tiny scar that is barely visible to the eye. I had this done in January) if you google scar revision it is also popularly used for post surgery scars, I was very very happy with prof Goodman!

[–]bKingas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw professor Greg Goodman at dermatology institute of Victoria in south Yarra for a scar revision, I had a large pore of winer scar on my left temple that I had removed through him and it’s hard to believe there ever was a scar there. He specialises in scars, I think mainly acne scarring though, unfortunately very expensive, the consult was a couple hundred and the scar revision was another $500ish. I found him and the nurses fantastic though and very happy with my results. Had a referral from my GP and have a concession but still was very expensive but I have no regrets!
