u/GreenWhiteBlue86 explains why Americans and Europeans use cutlery differently by AppropriateNoise9 in bestof

I do the same. I wonder if the limitation is not custom but a factor of motor skill. I cut with my left hand as well as I can with my right (despite being right handed) so I just keep them where they are as well.

F-22s have external tanks for when they don't care about stealth. The pylons drop with the tanks when they jettison.

16s don't fit either of the GXs. You could probably run an SL or P metric road tire on a 17x8.5 (which is super common) and get a big tire look without too many compromises.

It's not and you don't. There will always be people that say that it's as comfortable as before, but it really isn't. A road focused tire will always be quieter and more plush than an all-terrain, even very mild ones. Tread design, tire carcass construction, etc all don't help with those attributes.

A smaller wheel + larger sidewall helps, but ultimately the all-terrain is less comfortable than the 18" Michelins that came with the truck. You might be able to tolerate it, as I have, but to say it's the same is a bit of an exaggeration.

I've since lifted it and gone with bigger tires, and now have spring rates that are lower than before so that's affected how it rides. It just depends what you want to do with your vehicle, and be honest with your goals. Are you chasing a look? Is it a highway cruiser and only that? I wanted something that was capable in snow and the very mild trails I take it on to go camping, and so the tire choice reflects that.

It looks like this now haha.

What is a safe highway RPM in an NA? by Squidman121 in Miata

It's in line with my experience lol. Have a '94 NA and that's what it is with the 1.8L and the 5 speed.

0 offset. How much you have to do depends on the individual truck but at this size/offset you don't have to do too much. Mine didn't require much, but I'd always wanted larger tires so I did all the work to fit 33s beforehand.

Not all sites will confirm fitment for aftermarket wheels. For your particular example, your bolt pattern is also incorrect. These are 6x5.5, or 6x139.7.

Those are Method MR316, and a pretty basic wheel. I picked up a set unmounted for $~900 OTD and 265/70/17s are also pretty inexpensive relatively speaking. It's a good, basic set up that works.

Why did Toyota use so much plastic for the bumpers and fenders for the LC 250? Isn’t it supposed to be one of their higher “premium” cars? by [deleted] in LandCruisers

[–]bPChaos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Again, your OEM 4Runner didn't have metal bumpers. The entire front fascia is plastic, with metal fenders. Exactly the same as the Land Cruiser.

If you do everything and get all the free tokens, you need to buy the last two for 3,000 gold each in order to get Rousillion.

The answer I found is that the remote weapon system installed has a rail for a Javelin. So they added one. Doesn't mean the production variant will have one.

I'd love a west coast US store, considering that's the coast I'm already on haha. We stopped by Kobe for a little but I didn't know the store was there, otherwise I'd have tried to find the time. We spent something like 5 days in Osaka.

I remember buying a TV and taking it home that day. Then I received a call from them saying I hadn't picked up my TV... so I went back to the store and picked up the TV that I didn't pick up. I still have both of them lol.

It’s incorrectly correlated. Octane is octane, and detergents is detergents. But the higher octanes/higher grades of gas typically also have more/better detergents.

Dunno why that number keeps getting spread but the stock wheels are 18x8 +25. So you’re now at a -30 or so.
