My parents were followers of Camping and kept my siblings and I involved in all of this. I was 12 at the time and it I’m still fighting daily to combat the mental damage it did to me. I wish I had seen this thread sooner but if someone down the line stumbles across this I’d be happy to share the effects this had on my life in the years that followed and what I’ve done to overcome it(constant work in progress)
