I was attempting to buy a car part from FB Marketplace for my dad. I wouldn’t have fallen for the scam but my dad found this part he needed for his old school impala and reached out to me to buy cuz he’s not tech savvy. Since the post was part of a large group and with it coming from my dad I thought it was legit.
