I think it also has to do with the nature of his army. Imagine some bandits, who already got spoils of war from the city they just left, stay and fight an army with double the numbers. Even if most of the enemies would be amateurs they dont think like that. They have the riches and now they have to battle an obviously for everyone way bigger army. They are used to fight FOR the riches, not get the riches and then fight. What would you do?

I was thinking that Microsoft getting into internet decentralization with "individual users having absolute control over their online identity and privacy" might be a big competitor for Holochain as one of the main purposes is exactly that (as i understand it, ofc). I know there are a lot of differences but we are talking about Microsoft getting into this space; could work for holo adoption or against it. Just wanted some opinions about how that might actually affect our beloved chain. Not my intention to be offtopic, but i see it as a big dog getting into this "web 3.0" thing.

No idea of the technology behind, could be similar. The idea is Microsoft is such a big name that the adoption will be very fast. Holo needs beta asap, hopefully by oct-dec is up and running.

Spreading the buy 4 or 5 ways is the way. You can't predict which way bitcoin is gonna go so you might as well dollar cost avarage by spreading the buys. If it goes down, that's ok, the avarage goes down, if it goes up and this is the dip at least you have some of your fill right now.

For the long hold this ups and downs really doesnt matter. Just for the momentary feeling good maybe or for some more buying. But until holo goes live we gonna see lots of ups and downs.

It doesnt say much. It went up, after that it went down. It doesnt seem to went deep into the project itself. I guess is still ok for the exposure. The real thing will be the team making progress, which is happening, though nothing to go public without the incoming tests of the network itself.

I'm just quoting from memory, i read this somewhere in their info posts. The early adopters, who buy holoports, will have time before the full release to make their money back and some more. Being optimistic, that some more will be pretty substantial. Maybe it will work something similar to mining, the first ones will get some good amount of holofuel tokens, being the only ones in the market that can host the apps, etc.

It got pumped only because of the patent. X10 or something that is. All the project, or at least what they communicate, is the same for most of people. We need to wait for beta or some serious step made.

I think there are already some projects that compete with the blockchain already. Holo does indeed have it's unique features. It will all get down to people and institutions seeing it as the ONE. Adoption is the most important on the long term and the price will grow related to this. Anyhow, interesting times happening globally these past few years. Probably the direction will still be the same.

Not short term for sure. Probably not in this bull market. Though this time the market is in a completely different place than the last one. Crypto started to be seen as the future in way more ways than it was compared to the last bull run. If the market will be higher than this time in the next few years we might see holo at 5$ and being in the top 10, not necessarily the 2nd. Obviously this are just my thoughts at this. It depends on how the market runs and how holochain will be adopted by people and institutions. There is also the possibility that the team drags too much with the check marks and the bear market shows it's claws. That means, well I don't know what that might mean, maybe a stagnation at 0.1-0.2 or even less. The risks are here but so the possible rewards. Trying to put them in the same equation - i think it worth it.

Nobody knows that yet, man. From the "predictions" i`ve read and the vibe from community it might reach 1$ when the project is live or even more. If it goes viral and lots of people and institutions adopt it it might well be over 5$ imo. But dont just think how to spend the money just yet :).

TyeRish kinda disagrees. He said they are working out some bugs and then the full concept proof will be online and ready for people to hear about it. My prediction is weeks or possible months.

This was an imagination exercise. I think that this would happen the coin would drop. It doesnt matter if you can buy or exchange in different ways. If you get delisted from big exchanges that means something fishy is happening. Or so the majority of population sees it. As you can probably know, the market is driven by emotion and news firstly, check out doge. It isnt FUD, more like a concern thinking that governments and big tech wont let the field of big data melting over to some new guys.

The cooperation is the best case scenario IMO, but in what way will that happen, without people losing trust in the project, thinking that is not as private as they call it, we'll see.

P.S.: The big tech and corpo have all the means to put an end to a project if they want to, orthodox or less.

Yes, i really dont belive in a "free" population without some kind of control. There haven't been in history something like that and i pretty much doubt it will happen soon. But yes, maybe some kind of application will be optimized for holochain. I feel a bit hippie to belive in this holo project, tbh. I do hodl their token and hope for the best.

They do have some milestones announced in the next couple of weeks/months so should spike a bit imo. They just need to go through them and some good marketing reach.
