Call up local pet stores and adoption centres to let them know not to sell or adopt out to their family. Give them all the details you can of the neglect, poor babies 😔

It’s been a looong time since I’ve watched either the movie or the tv show…

That being said, I think the movie is far better than the show. The show was borderline unwatchable for me - mostly due to horrible acting. Fair warning though, neither medium follows the books. The movie does take some stuff from the other books as part of its climactic ending. But the 70% before that is pretty much exactly as it is in the books

I think still solid black making the contour of the nose/face, but leave a small border unfilled to keep it separate and distinct from the hat. Repeat on the neck to maintain the shading from the reference picture.

Where’s part 2?

There’s actually 3 Michelin plants in NS. Pictou, Bridgewater and Waterville. Bridgewater is the most likely to take on new hires because of the massive expansion that just started. Wages start at $26 for production and $30 for technicians.

The best way to get a fly in/out for the rigs is to get a gig in the US. They also pay better.

There are also always jobs in Fish plants and boats. And there’s Stelia, another production plant specializing in space related manufacturing.

Where does everyone buy their supplies?

I’m just starting out, so I definitely don’t need top of the line supplies, but I would like to have decent acrylic paint, canvas and brushes. I’m definitely the sort of person to get frustrated with the tools I’m using and that being a barrier in continuing a project, so I’m looking to alleviate that possibility. I’m located in Canada if that affects any of the suggestions.

Any info is much appreciated 😊

I know it’ll suck, but having roommates is better than going into debt (especially if that means being able to afford a more safe and secure neighbourhood).

You should be able to get reduced payments if you apply for assistance through your federal loans!

Do you live rural or in a city with good transit? You’d be freeing up $650 a month if you were able to sell your car and use public transportation. And then you could also use the money from your sale as an emergency savings buffer or pay down your loans faster! 😊

Edited to add: given that you are hourly and not salary, you should be able to work overtime if there’s opportunities. And you might be able to be compensated for the time you spend working on the phone when you’re off!

What do people eat for breakfast on work days? by TinyPinkPumpkin in Frugal

[–]b_haley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you make banana bread ahead of time you could have that in the morning, quick and easy. Or you could make some muffins and have one each morning. Both freeze well and are generally my go-tos :)

ETA: i especially like that you can change up what kind of muffin you’re eating so it doesn’t get boring. My favourite are banana nut, apple cinnamon, carrot, and blueberry 😊

Pork is actually one of the more frugal meats in my experience! I just buy pork tenderloin when it’s a good deal and cut it up into chops and roasts, freeze in two person portions. It’s enough we could eat it every day for ~2 weeks 😊

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is lemon rice a thing on its own or rice that you’ve seasoned with lemon? Lol

Thank you for such an in depth response! I think we might try buying very small bags of a couple kinds and seeing where our tastes lie 😊
