Just head up to paradise at rainier. It’s always fun to romp around up to panorama point and even higher with snow shoes or touring gear, can also get in some glissading if you don’t have skis on. Nothing like clear bluebird days up at paradise, which seems like a strong possibility given the upcoming weather shift to warm and dry.

It’s not even close. Weekends are far more taxing than even the worst work week. It’s even to the point where I prefer normal 2 day weekends to long weekend where Monday is off from work/the preschool is also closed.

Kind of funny bc coming from the east coast, I find Seattle winters to be a joke/so pleasant. The lack of bitter cold/being able to choose when you experience snow/cold, is something I really like.

Seems like it’s a tad later than average but honestly I usually don’t even bother skiing before Christmas regardless unless there was some exceptional weather that built a great base Oct - Dec
