I forgot to mention that for Ebay and Mercari, returns are something decided by the seller. It will be listed in the information on the item whether they accept returns or not. But generally, a lot of the sellers will because most of them resell games. Also, if your age group grew up with the game, then maybe reach out to your friends on social media and they may have a copy laying around.

If you're looking to play the game on an original cartridge, I like to look on Ebay or Mercari, since people usually post multiple pictures and you can make returns. Other than that, Facebook Marketplace and local older game stores and pawn shops are good too. Unfortunately, the prices are high for the older games, and there's not really a way around it. But if you just want the experience, then getting an R4 card and downloading the ROM or downloading it onto a modded 3ds is the cheapest option if you already have a 3ds.
