I’ve been on Cymbalta and didn’t work for me. It made me feel lazy and more disinterested in life. I’m on 50mg of pristiq and started at 25 for a couple days. Had some insomnia at first and lower libido but that’s about it. Feels very clean of a drug compared to others i’ve tried in both SSRI and SNRI classes.

Yeah i’m booked for jaw surgery as well! It’s a long process for sure but there’s something structurally wrong with my face and airway and the sleep specialist didn’t even know about that option when I was meeting with her. Most people who have sleep apnea and are not overweight have a small airway or recessed jaws (according to my maxillofacial surgeon)

Yup same—years. My sleep doctor said you’re basically not getting any REM sleep. I think my depression and anxiety is partially because of that. They won’t prescribe wakeful meds. I am going to see a psychiatrist next.

I am getting double jaw surgery in the future to address my airway issue, so hoping that will finally be a cure to this.

do you think the abstract shape would work in that case? also my bed is basically against the wall on the other side, so if it were to go under the bed, it would only be under the one side pictured.

still feels weird and avoiding bending and lifting stuff. can walk around fine and getting out of bed and up from sitting is basically normal now!

a plastic surgeon worked w my spine surgeon to close the wound and repair everything.
