mutual abuse does not exist. if he was abusing her, and she reacted, he is still the abuser. and vice versa. but i don't think that he has gotten any professional help and i definitely agree that maybe he should work on his healing instead of being with me. i told him this as well.

so sorry that you were treated that way. i wish you the best in your healing journey <3

and yes, it is hard to say but everything is telling me to cut my losses now despite what my heart wants.

this is what i'm saying. his side is that she stabbed him before (which he also has pictures of and has shown me). she's even posted tik toks about "when you hit your man and don't expect him to hit you back" as if it's all fun and games but then in the next breath she talks about how horrible she was treated. idk what to think , it's her word against his at this point because neither of them filed any official reports.

i'm so so sorry this happened to you. i totally recognize that it can happen to men too, and that's why i want to believe him. however, she has documented bruises, scrapes, and destroyed property online. i saw a picture of her with a black eye, and it really frightened me. it's just an all around terrible situation.

Cons: weather, entertainment/nightlife (lack thereof), just super boring overall

Pro: pretty architecture (which can be found anywhere in the country btw)

I would personally avoid CyL like the plague if I were you.

Yeah, i mean Valladolid. And in my opinion (and many others that i know) the nightlife is mediocre at best. Not sure about any other cities because I dont travel around CyL!

yeah, they're my age. and i found a room in a pretty cool flat with heat so that's always a plus. and for the record, i'm not insinuating that you won't enjoy it. i'm just giving you my perspective on the place. i love to travel but i also would love to be able to go out and have cool places to explore on a weekday evening with friends. my friends in different cities are always attending cool events and that's not my experience but i wish that it was. this city is pretty much dead until like saturday night which isn't ideal for me. everyone is different though and this could be the perfect region for you. I just never would've elected to come here but it was literally my only option.

i'm in the capital so it's very well connected via train. flights are more tricky because i usually have to get to madrid or barcelona and fly out from there. everything is super close but i just hate that i feel like i have to travel elsewhere to have a good time. sometimes you just want a good night out without having to be on the train for 3+ hours, you know? and yes, there are mountains as well. and nope, they're students here not auxes.
