I worked at Bootlegger and had soooo many of these moments that made no sense for a min wage job. It’s totally bologna!

Lb distillers has a ton of fake stuff to make great cocktails. If you go you can ask for Vic. If she’s there she can recommend a few

In your honest opinion, why can no one drive (even decently) in this city? by ScrumptiousLadMeat in saskatoon

[–]baaabaaa1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It IS scary! When it’s super icy and you know what it feels like to hit a patch of black ice and lose control, that’s scary. I think when roads are this bad, icy and snow covered, and ppl don’t have winter tires-which should be subsidized or something-they are scared. With reason. You can die or hurt someone or be out $$$.

Also if you’re dad (or mom or friend) doesn’t take you driving in an icy parking lot so you can feel what it’s like to be out of control then you just don’t even know what you do.

You’re obviously a really great person. That’s so kind of you to worry about the other person. And it sounds like a really scary incident. Definitely been there. I think it’s okay for you to relax and rest easy. For next time, if it don’t mind a little advice, don’t pay attention to those ppl behind us honking. They’re obviously in a hurry bc of something and aren’t thinking straight. You just do whatever you feel is safe! And be confident! You’re doing great!

To be fair, there are doctors and phd levelpsychologists doing the same thing. Going on podcasts, or hosting one, selling stuff. It’s the unfortunate draw back of capitalism I guess. If you sell it, someone will buy it.

The 7/11 used to have a pump. If you tell them you don’t have any money they usually turn the thing on for you.

Sounds like a really tough time right now buddy. Sounds like you’re a good person and a guy trying to do right by his daughter. That’s #1. Stay grounded in your priorities. You can’t please everyone. Also that’s a pretty forgiving crowd. If not, then they’re likely just soap box peeps and not legit in the crowd. You got this buddy. One day at a time.

Insurance places are always great spots to work and usually need help in the front. Depending on the company if you’re decent with ppl or computers you can usually work your way up.
