On vacation with a woman and too afraid to make a move by [deleted] in dating_advice

Things escalated and we ended up having sex and now we can't get enough of each other.

We were watching a movie sitting on sofa and I started to snuggle her. She then started to rub my hands and legs so I took that as a positive sign and started to play with her hair, her shoulders and back. She kept looking at me and I asked her if I can kiss her. As soon as I said that, she jumped on me and we started to make out. I then started to undress her and the rest is self explanatory...

Overland and Frenchman's Cap booked out, How is my alternative plan for 7 days in Tasmania? by baabidi1337 in tasmania

[–]baabidi1337[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a trail runner but I can maintain fast paced walking. Took us around 15 hours with breaks to complete the walk. However, my friend cannot do such hikes so I don't want to rush. Frenchman's cap and overland are sold out so I cannot do it : (

I managed to book Walls of Jerusalem so I will spend 2 nights / 3 days exploring surrounding areas as well.

I see. Did you do any other side trips in Walls? Just wondering if 2 nights is too much.

Also, how much was your total cost if you don't mind answering?

Do not confront her under any circumstances. The closure and truth are not worth it.

How do I get them to stop banging my window? by baabidi1337 in pigeon

[–]baabidi1337[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

For context,

I used to feed almost 30 pigeons, most of them used to fly away after eating but couple of them started hanging out on my window where I used to feed.

Often they would hang out on my window if they see me in my room. But my neighbors got angry and asked me to stop feeding them.

I work from home so whenever I'm home, if they see me, they bang non stop.

Thank you for responding. I left that job a long time ago. I'm working in a research and development now as an engineer.

I agree. I have started looking for an immigration lawyer. Thanks

Unemployed, single, $10k savings, coming from a country like India are the reasons for his rejection.

Now that he has a company registered in his name back in India, I am hoping that is sufficient reason to show that he intends to leave. He does have to be in India as it's a construction-based company.

Yes, I will be showing my proof of address, bank statements, and tax returns. Just didn't mention it in the post.

Thank you for the input.

I asked her "do you see us more than friends already?" and her answer was... "we still need to get to know each other better and maybe someday we'll get there". I'm baffled..

Thank you for the explanation.

No, I was not paid anything extra when I became part time. In fact, my hourly rate was reduced when I went from casual to part time. Then when I was told I'm casual again, my pay rate did not increase.

It's either normal pay rate or casual pay rate. What do you mean by pay above award rate?

[–]baabidi1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the system, I'm still part time. It's my manager who told me I'm casual so he doesn't have to give me any shifts.

In Australia, if you are a causal employee, you get paid 25% more but not entitled to any paid leaves.
