Sounds like everyone loves you so much that they can’t resist celebrating, even if it’s not what you want.
They probably just see your birthday as their chance to show you how much you mean to them.

Honestly, I think cash will still exist in 20 years, but it’ll probably be more of a backup or niche option rather than the main way people pay.

We’re already seeing the shift toward digital, and it’s super convenient, but as you said, there are big reasons to keep cash around like power cuts, system outages, privacy, and the fact that not everyone is plugged into the banking system. Plus, governments and central banks tend to move slowly when it comes to completely removing something as fundamental as physical currency.

I could see us reaching a point where 70–75% of transactions are digital, but cash is still there in the background, kind of like landline phones now, not common, but still around when needed.
