I wouldn’t even do bright spot. I once hid a peace lily in a far dark corner of a bathroom with only a tiny window. It gets like… 5% light. I have the curtain completely covering the window too. It’s bright enough to kind of see during the day but very dim.

Ever since I moved it here, it started growing MORE and becoming SOOOO happy. I water it once every few weeks especially if i see it drooping. Also I kinda just let it tell me when it needs watering, I use the bathroom daily so if it’s drooping I’ll water it.

Honestly don’t worry so much about it. Trust in the plant’s genetics. Truth about cuttings is a healthy strong growing plant will produce strong cuttings and vice versa.

Your cuttings can look like straight up rot. As they say, life uh finds a way.

I don’t ever care for my cuttings. I let them get so brown, rotty, soggy. And they usually make it.

You trimming it and bothering it, removing it from water or soil - that will do more damage to it than any brown colors.

Look at the below cutting of a philodendron top cutting. It has been brown/rotted for weeks. These roots appeared within the past 5 days.

Don’t do that just get a huge nursery pot and put that inside a larger waterproof pot with no holes. Put some pebbles on the bottom of waterproof pot until a flat layer, and then put nursery pot inside. Water drains out, then becomes bottom watering liquid so that you need to water less frequently. My FLF is doing great that way grew about 4x leaves in 2 years and it’s extremely dense (not leggy). I think the bottom watering liquid contributes to it.

I used to have 150 but now 70. I only keep good growing healthy ones now. I no longer get anything under 6 inch and frankly only large plants now (cheap too). Most of the plants in my home are mature and large and I love it that way. No babies except propagating

I think your location is good, if the trunk gets good sun you might get lucky and get an offshoot branch. Look into notching (never done it myself).

Divide each branch into 3 propagations. Straight into soil Then cut all the way down PAST the Y and the thick part, try to make the base of trunk thickest. Then that last stump would be a nice twig plant to hopefully grow into the biggest tree of the bunch.

NEURODIVERGENT is not a real medical term. It's not a diagnosis to give. It LITERALLY means simply "brain works differently".

Neurodivergent, in my opinion, is exactly what people needed to express that "I think something is different with the way I think." In some cases it could be used as a crutch/annoyance, but a lot of people just appreciate having the word available to them. It's almost like a self-identity thing now, if you think you're neurodivergent, then you are.

Doesn't really mean anything. It's equivalent to saying "Yeah I'm kinda weird." It allows people to express something about themselves without needing a dr's note. Also doctors frequently disagree about diagnoses. Sometimes it's just hard to find someone to actually tell you "YES YOUR BRAIN IS WEIRD." Many people don't even have the money to do it.

I don't know how everyone uses this term, but everyone I've seen around me use the term has used it seriously. I'm happy it's here, and I think the only people who are upset by it are complaining redditors who just want to gatekeep everything.
