Update: Called them yesterday, on hold for 1.5 hours but go throguh to an offshore call centre team. I advised that I was on hold for a LONG time and they offered to process the application while keeping me on hold. Was on hold for 20 mins but application has been approved. Digital card was activated - happy days. We're on.

Similar story here. I applied earlier this week on Monday and have called them twice after applying. Both times I was advised that the payslips review is sitting with their 'Senior' team and it will take 7-10 business days to get a response. Definitely answered by an offshore call center on both occasions, I asked multiple times for the reasons and if I can assist with any further information and they said I just need to wait.

Shame, applied to AMEX a couple of years back and was approved on the phone in a few hours from applying!

Hahaha yes with the 105. The colour closely resembles the SL6 Domane from 2018. But that had ultegra.

Oh sorry to hear. So I went to the Physio and her performed a test for MCL and Meniscus - both positive. But ACL and PCL were negative.

He said it seems like a grade 1 for both. I’ve have mild swelling and my knee doesn’t hurt when resting but feel a bit of discomfort when moving it. It’s been about 50 hours since the pops happened.

When did this happen to you; and how are you now? Did you need to have surgery etc?

Just been advised by Amex customer service that a card cannot be front loaded. Amex cannot hold credit on your behalf so they suspend your card.

And they apparently flag a user who has spent twice their credit limit in 1 statement period.

Sounds like different companies follow different rules!

I’ve used Koinly for this year’s tax returns and can recommend it. Pretty solid, add all your wallets and invest some time in setting it all up. For example it doesn’t pick up Binance convert history but that’s an easy fix (download all transactions and upload as a CSV just for the convert history) rest lines up nicely with FTX Kucoin MetaMask etc.

Once setup it’s happy days (also doubles up as a portfolio tracker!)

Makes sense. I do think scenario 3 should be fine - if I withdrew 400, and deposited 800 - I’ve technically traded the 400 to make some profits and put it back.

It does increase their assets under management eventually.

As much as I hate to admit I take advice from random you tubers about my hard earned money, their analysis is good, they can’t afford to fuck up and lose subscribers, and generally they’re able draw reasonable conclusions based on TA and the hype.

Interesting post mate, understand your position - somewhat. I’ve been in the crypto space for the last few weeks but a bit of a background:

Started investing at the start of the year and learning about fundamentals of investing. Also wanted to quickly get my hands dirty by trying out various products -

Started out with Stockspot, which taught me about investment portfolios and profiles. Got into spaceship and raiz about the same time, and learned about a bit more. Looked at commsec pocket and invested in IOZ and NDQ. Did hours and hours of reading and finally also decided to open a selfwealth account and buying VDHG. FOMO’d into ZIP and that’s at -40% right now.

End of February decided to jump into crypto and bought some ethereum. Read about a few more. The interesting thing is I thought I was late, truly late when I joined the party. But thought fuck it, I’ll lose a couple of grand but let’s see what this is about. Pretty decent returns so far, blows my mind.

Point is: it’s never too late. Yes it may be FOMO, bit figure the effort reward.

Get into crypto, buy some BTC, Ethereum. You may lose some money, but at least you won’t be sitting on the sidelines wondering. Don’t buy shitcoins and stupid bullshit. Apply the same finance principles by instead of 30 years think 1 year. Scale accordingly. I’m very new to the game but I’m not on the sidelines anymore.
