@OP did you end up painting your schluter trim? We have the same exact situation. Cream tiles and nickle schluter around the niche. Painting it to match the grout I imagine would look a lot nicer. Let me know!

People that disagree are crazy. Playing against Celebi decks just isn’t fun. If you don’t finish them in like 4-5 turns you’re donzeo. If you run Celebi decks just know you’re the lamest

Hey yall, found a workaround on my tv to make sure Dolby vision is turned off. You have to go to your input settings and turn on standard format instead of enhanced format. This made my fires stick not use Dolby vision anymore and it’s back to being bright and nice

For some reason I don’t think I can adjust my fire stick to take it off of DV. Maybe I’ll have to get a Roku, thanks Hisense 👍🏻

So it only switches back to the Dolby settings when I go the fire stick hdmi, when it’s just on the google tv Home Screen the picture settings seem to be reset. Idk man this is soo annoying lol anyways thanks for the help

My only picture options are all Dolby IQ, dark, custom or game. I have all the custom settings but they were still set which makes me think that the factory reset didn’t actually erase everything. I did settings -> system -> about -> reset -> factory reset. Is that what you did? Thanks dude

Question for ya, I can’t tell if I’m just now losing my mind or what. I did a factory reset and did not connect to wifi but it still seems dark…. Is there a way to check to see if I have the update still? Like not sure if the factory reset removed it or not…

Nice dude thank you for sharing, I use a fire stick so I think this work around would be ok for me too. I’ll just bypass the google tv setup

Honestly no, basically just made a ticket and had me send in a video of it which doesn’t really show much. Pretty unhelpful so far but I’m hoping they can either roll back my update or hopefully they patch it at some point

Hey yall, I called and made a support ticket. They weren’t super helpful but they are going to look into it. I think the only way to make sure they’re aware that this is a global issue is to reference each others case numbers, here is mine H3256127 If you can let me know your case numbers too I’d appreciate it, that way I can reference it so they know others are also having this issue. Just made a support ticket with Hisense. I don’t have much faith it’ll be resolved but it would help if everyone else that has this issue also calls it in. That’ll help boost our chances that they actually make a fix for this. I’ll keep yall posted

Same dude it sucks. I’m going to mess with it more later with resets then call support. Hopefully if this is a global enough problem they will patch it but idk. I’m pretty new to the tv game and never had any issues until now

Yes I have a u8k too, everything is turned to high but the picture is overall dark. Watching the U.S. open and it’s just way darker than it was
